I absolutely adored reading this book and I'm sure I will continue to do so, as it is a book that you can dip in and out of. I can't wait to re-visit some of the rituals! Laurey's advice and experience make for some wonderful content including useful information on crystals, essential oils, rituals, sacred spaces and plenty more! If you want to explore beauty on a deeper, more spiritual level or you are simply interested in nurturing your inner self, you will love this book.

As soon as I opened the first page to this book I could NOT put it down.It is just what I have been searching for. Laureys beautifly, inspiring words within the book resignated with me on so many levels and made me feel alive and engnited a spark from within. Books like this don't come around often so thank you Laurey ! I have just a few moments ago turned to the last page, like an amazing film I did not want it to end. This item would make a lovely gift. It is very well presented and although I haven’t read it cover to cover yet it does have some lovely advice for living well.

This is a lovely book. The pictures are beautiful and I love all the references about different cultural and historical rituals. I havent finished reading it yet, but so far I’m loving every page. The information about the different crystals is easy to understand and digest. I would thoroughly recommend this book.

I love this book! It is stunningly beautiful and incredibly uplifting. I really like the fact that it's clearly based on ancient wisdom but is so practical and relevant for a modern, busy life. I am looking forward to trying out the rose quartz bath-time ritual! If you want some inspiration on how to bring more of a spiritual dimension into your life, this is definitely the book for you.

Absolutely love this book - I am very new to the crystal healing & mindfulness journey but once this book arrived I simply could not put it down. So many beautiful rituals in this book to try - so many beautiful pictures - would definitely recommend.

Eigentlich habe ich von diesem Buch nicht viel erwartet außer vielleicht ein paar hübsche Bilder. Die gibt es zwar auch, aber überraschenderweise ist auch der Text weder seicht noch oberflächlich. In sympathischem Stil beschreibt die Autorin kleine Rituale für jeden Tag, die dazu da sind, sich selbst einen inneren Schub Schönheit und Selbstbewußtsein zu verpassen. Dabei erzählt sie kleine Anekdoten aus ihrem eigenen Leben, die sie auf die jeweilige Idee haben kommen lassen. Neu ist das alles natürlich nicht. Es gab schon vorher esoterisch angehauchte Beauty-Tips, und im Zuge der ganzen Wellness-Bewegung schwappte auch so mancher schön anzuschauende aber nutzlose Unsinn über uns herein. Insofern findet man in der Inner Beauty Bible jetzt weder bahnbrechend Neues, noch irgendwelche tatsächlichen Heilanwendungen im kosmetischen oder gar medizinischen Sinn. Und trotzdem: allein die Art, wie an manche Dinge herangegangen wird, ist interessant und irgendwie anders. Das reicht von Kristallmeditationen zu Tips für gutes Wohlbefinden über Einrichtungsratschläge für Wohn- und Schlafzimmer, kleine Beauty-Geheimnisse uvm. Dabei wird aber immer im Fokus behalten, dass es keiner riesengroßen Veränderungen bedarf, um ein wenig spirituelle Routine in den Tagesablauf zu bekommen und sich durch festgelegte Abläufe - Rituale eben - ein wenig Festigkeit im Alltagstrubel zu verschaffen. Und wer ruhig und gelassen ist, strahlt auch gleichzeitig innere Schönheit aus. Sei es ein Kristall am Arbeitsplatz, ein kurzes, bewußtes Innehalten auf dem Weg zum Einkaufen, eine Pflanze an strategisch günstiger Stelle, oder oder oder. Die Autorin widmet verschiedenen Kristallen ein mehrseitiges Porträt (z.B. Amethyst, Rosenquarz, Citrin) und beschreibt deren Eigenschaften. Es gibt auch ein Kapitel über spirituelles Reisen, über kleine Hilfsmittel (z.B. ein "Medicine Bag"), sowie Kapitel zu Ritualen für den Morgen und fürs Zubettgehen/Schlafen, Rituale für die freie Natur, zum Loslassen (zB im Trauerfall), für das Einrichten eines kleinen Altares oder "sacred space" (damit ist einfach eine Stelle im Haus gemeint, die man sich besonders einrichtet um dort kurz innezuhalten und nachzudenken oder zu meditieren). Das Buch kommt ohne übergreifende Religiosität aus: Die Autorin selbst ist Jüdin, beschreibt aber auch Rituale mit buddhistischen oder hinduistischen Wurzeln, die aber alle ganz ohne irgendwelche Vergöttlichungen auskommen und so für jedermann/frau geeignet sind. Dazu kommen wirklich wunderschöne Bilder, ein leicht verständlicher, sympathisch geschriebener Text und ein in sich stimmiges Layout in zartem Lavendel. 5/5 Sternen insgesamt.
