Seem to be good quality pedals especially for beginners especially for the price
I recently got these to go on my new road bike. I know that these are MTB pedals however I will primarily be using them for commuting and road biking because they were the cheapest looking yet good quality ones I could find and they come with the correct cleats for my cycling shoes. They also had a quick delivery ad were packaged nicely so nothing was damaged or scratched. They seem to be very sturdy because it is all metal (aluminum I believe) but are light weight enough for me. I haven't tried them out yet these are just first impressions from unboxing but will add an update as soon as I do. Thank you for reading, I hope this was informative!

Poor build quality
First set of pedals had a problem with the left pedal making a pop-ing noise on every rotation. Requested a replacement and the second set is doing the same thing. I’ve checked everything on the bike, as well as used multiple sets of shoes and the problem is still there. I can manipulate the pedal by hand and recreate the pop-ing noise. I’m assuming poor quality bearings or just poor build quality in general.

Inexpensive but well built (so far) SPD platform pedals
Switched from my pure SPD pedals so that I can ride to the store without my cycling shoes. So far so good, they came well packaged. The only expected downside (not for me) is a slightly smaller platform surface but then I don't do downhill runs that need all that stability of a larger pedal. I have to ride it a bit in both modes but for now, they seem to work fine for what they cost.

Worth buying
Worth buying Does the job efficiently

Extremely hard to take off
Good for cumuting, but good luck taking them out, they only have the inside the crank to remove them, no other point to loosen them up

Used as road bike pedals
Not suitable for cyclist with wide feet. Not enough clearance between the inside of your shoes and crank arm. I used to hear a chirping sound as I rode, and thought it was from the birds nearby. I found out as I noticed the abrasion on inner side of my shoes. Changed the pedals and the birds stopped chirping.
