This is brilliant - painting without the mess! My 3 year old is engrossed and hasn't stopped playing with it for two weeks solid. And its so elegant it really teaches about art and beauty. The only thing that would make this better is the option for two boards - 3 year olds really dont have the patience to wait for it to dry!!! Also enjoyed by me after she goes to bed, and occiaisionally by Grandma - very versatile and relaxing!

Outstanding concept and well executed. Awesome for parents in that it doesn't leave a mess, and encourages creativity over and over again! Fun for the whole family too! Once you get into it, very hard to put away! Have bought several now for our grandchildren, and they all love it.

The board works as it says it will, a lovely product. Slightly disappointed that it doesn't look exactly like it does on the box, there is a small lip around the edge, and it looks cheap in comparison. Still worth a look if you like interesting items on your desk.

Lovely! Fun for my girl, no mess to clean up, and lets her paint. I did buy little felt tip pens for her to use, as she’s very young.

Excellent gift idea. Great packaging and top quality board and paint brush. Very sturdy and easy to draw on, looks classy too.

A bit pricey for what it is, as the material that the "painting" is done on is cheap and common calligraphy practice material in China. But mounting it nicely on a board and presenting it as such is a genius idea. You can't well give someone a sheet of paper and tell them it's magical and they can write on it over and over with water, but you can give them this and it comes in a nice box and has a little booklet to explain what they are supposed to do with it and looks elegant when set up. So. The recipient loved it and everyone else in the room wanted to play with it, so well worth it. I'm tempted to get one for myself even though I have sheets of the magical paper.

The only concern I had was it didn't arrived wrapped or protected in any way. As it's a present it needed to be pristine, which it was, but might have benefitted from some bubble wrap.

Ho fatto un regalo a mia figlia che studia giapponese e l'ho fatta felice. Le permette di esercitarsi con la scrittura giapponese senza stare a sprecare carta. Sembra un sottile foglio di carta su una tavoletta di ardesia. È molto delicato ma perché è un oggetto molto particolare non per altro.

I placed the buddha board in a common area for everyone in the family to enjoy. To my great surprise, everyone had a go at using it and had heaps of fun with it. In fact, we started having discussions on how to write certain Chinese characters, which is a great way for us to connect with our older parents. My husband also commented on the fact that he love that it just dries up and disappears, so he doesn't care as much about making mistakes, allowing him to freely draw whatever. Big thumbs up from everyone!

My partner is challenged by ADHD at times. I purchased a Buddha Board for Christmas and it turned out to be the perfect gift for him. Regular tap water serves as the paint ( I use distilled water due to high mineral content in my home water) and with a little creativity you can produce some beautiful results. Just dip the brush into the water and paint on the Buddha Board. The best part, I love to watch my creations slowly change as the moisture starts to evaporate, changing my creation into something else and then eventually disappearing all together, so you can start over again and again! Great gift idea, beautiful, simple and affordable. The Buddha Board comes in a simple box that can be used for storage when not in use. Kit come with a brush, a small easel, and the reusable canvas.
