Addis 30L Retro Cushion Close Bin-Copper

This bin is perfect, it is the right size, very good quality for the price paid and it has a mechanism where the bin does not slam shut when you take your foot off the pedal. Perhaps the only quibble, and it is very small at that, is that the copper colour isn't quite as pronounced as the picture... it is rather lighter than the picture suggests... That said, it matches the kitchen well and performs its job admirably... Five stars.

I had a 50litre bin, and found that I could become lazy and not recycle as much as I could, so I decided to get a smaller bin and in a way force myself to do the right thing and sort out the different rubbish, at the end of the day it's a bin, not much to say apart from it looks nice, it's basic and considering I paid about 6x more for my previous bin im surprised at its sturdiness, at £30 you definitely can't go wrong.

Looks lovely, works well and arrived quickly (7 days earlier than expected) with no damage. *UPDATED - feint scratch approx 1.5inch long low down on front of bin so now requesting a return.* The only minor criticism is that the advert states that the bin liner is hidden - 99% of the liner is hidden but as you will see in the advert, the bin liner folds down around the rim and flat against the sides of the inner drum. When you have done this and inserted the drum, the rim can be seen as the lid closes onto this as a sort of ledge. Therefore, if you use white, beige or grey bin liners you will see a ring of this colour where the lid closes. Only way not to see this is to either use black bin liners, no bin liner or just hook the bin liner inside the drum on the handle, although this will only secure the bin liner on one side. Otherwise, looks great and works well.

Great value bin, lovely colour and quality build with the added luxury of a soft close lid so no slamming of lid.

Lovely bin. First one was damaged but it was replaced quickly. Works well and looks great in my kitchen. Nice to have a change from silver. You can’t fit loads in but that suits us better as we recycle more than we put in black bags. Much better opening system than my previous Barbrantia bin.

I love the bin BUT it arrived in the original Addis manufacturer’s cardboard box which was placed inside a clear plastic bag. The sides of the pedal bin were protected by cardboard inside the cardboard box, but the top had no protection at all. Also, the plastic bag wasn’t completely sellotaped together. When I opened the cardboard box I found that the lid of the pedal bin has several dents in it because there was no protection at all for the lid – cardboard or polystyrene would have protected it.

Brilliant value bin, looks great and has good capacity. The soft-close lid is great. I did have to return the first one as it was damaged - as several other reviewers have said - I suspect they've been subject to a loading accident hence the low price, but the replacement arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

This bin is good value for money, all the dimensions are good. My biggest grumble with this is the colour, it is a very light shade of copper and will not match unless you have products by exactly the same brand. In certain lights it looks like stainless steel. Like I say it is very robust and has good dimensions, just beware the colour.

Der Eimer kam zunächst recht schlecht verpackt und hatte auch eine große Beule auf der Rückseite. Das kann natürlich ein Einzelfall gewesen sein. Aber der Inneneimer verströmt auch einen starken Plastik-Chemie-Geruch, der mich beunruhigte und die Farbe ist schon eher braun als Kupfer. So habe ich mich schließlich dagegen entschieden, das gleiche Produkt als Ersatz zu bestellen, mein Eindruck war einfach nicht besonders.

Received a rather Dented piece from Amazon. Returned immediately. Ordered direct from the Seller and got a piece in perfect condition within 24 hours

Va muy bien con mi cocina con tonos acobreados. De momento estoy contento pero hay que tener cuidado con la tapa de alumínio, no usar panos humedos que queda la mancha oxidadada. Los plazos de entrega de amazon.es son cada vez mas alargados y los precios de envio no bajan.

El cubo es muy bonito, no es tan oscuro como se ve en la foto, la tapa no abre del todo pero luego baja muy despacio y no da golpe. Respecto al embalaje venía en su caja y al sacarlo tenía un golpe en un lado, deberían de embalarlo mejor, por lo demás por ahora bien, a ver lo que dura.
