Tank Spotter's Guide

I have been able to identify all the tanks that have rumbled towards me after purchasing this. It was either buy this, remain ignorant, or move away from North Korea. On balance, it was safest and cheapest to buy the book. I am very satisfied.

Bought for my 11yr old great grandson, who has developed an interest in ww2. He appeared well pleased, time will tell if it stimulates an interest in tanks. I was impressed by the illustrations & basic background info.

Essential reference book for anyone with an interest in the history of military tanks. I found the Kindle version better for taking around to wargame meetings and competitions than a book especially as I have many other reference books on the Kindle at the same time.

A wonderful pocket book! This is for a Xmas present and I'm certain that that my uncle is going to enjoy reading this! In fact I will be ordering 2 more one for my son and his father as they too enjoy boring me with their knowledge of tanks! Thank you!

Great little book. Bought as a gift so I've only flicked through. Good stats inside and descriptions of tanks for those that play world of tanks!

Pardon the pun in the title but the reason I bought this book (already being aware of the quality of Osprey publications) was to remind me of a visit several years ago to the splendid Bovington Tank Museum with its collection of around 150 exhibits. The condition of the book was good as new and the illustrations well executed, with various regimental and armoured division colours described. Although on occasion there was a lack of information on technical specification this did not detract from the usefulness of this book. Afterall there exist many volumes of specifications but the illustrations in The Tank Spotters Guide bring these incredible machines to life.

My grandson is really into tanks right now, so he loved it!

Schöne Auswahl an meist bekannten Panzern, interessant und auch recht detailliert geschrieben. Leider nur englisch, aber das sollte heutzutage ja kein Hindernis sein :)

Es una guía muy general de los principales de carros de combate de la historia. El lector especializado no encontrará ninguna información novedosa, pero es una introducción interesante para un lector no especializado.
