250 Sterile Skin Wound Closure Strips (3 x 75mm) - 5 Strips per Pack

After using smaller packs, I decided to stock up with this 250-strip box from JFA Medical. The value here is incredible; it's significantly cheaper than buying individual packs from a pharmacy. As a parent of a young son and an active gardener, I find these 3 x 75mm strips are the perfect universal size for small cuts. They are high quality, sterile, and the adhesive is very reliable. Having 50 individual packs of 5 strips means I can keep them in the house, the garage, and the Kia Soul so I’m never caught without them.

Good size

Easy to use and cut to size needed, good value for money, you get a lot for the price. Probably would be good for small wounds however I ordered this to use on a medium size laceration and found them unsuitable for it. The problems I had were although I used several and kept the skin tight when appliying them they did not keep it in place and the wound kept opening back up. I also found them very hard to stick to the skin and if any cream (sudocream in this case) touched them they became even less adhesive. I ended up just using the see through medical tape which I found to be more durable and stickier

They do the job

Ok, but they aren’t a patch on the steri strips you’d get from the hospital. I’d run out of the last batch we had (accident prone boys) and was looking for a replacement for our first aid kit. They do work well enough to get you out of trouble and bring a minor wound together far better than a plaster would, but they don’t do overly well with water, and I found the need to reapply after a day or two as the sticking power runs out. The pack is huge though so really not a problem and good value for money generally.
