Rolson 61298 150 pc Spring Assortment,Silver

I needed a spring for a project I was working on and the price for a single solitary spring in the local B&Q was nearly double what I paid for this whole set!!! So this little set was an absolute no brainer given the amount of springs and assortment you get even if I never use more than one spring out of it I still got better value than that daylight robbery hole that is B&Q! All the springs seem to be of good quality and the use that I needed was to replace a spring that had vanished from a angle poise style lamp and it was very easy to replace using a spring from this set. As I say you get a great assortment of different sizes so for people like me that enjoy fixing items rather than just throwing them away then this is a good set to have in the home or workshop. For the price paid I feel I got excellent value for money.

Purchased with the hope one size might fit as replacement tension springs for a door handle. With a little fettling i was able to make it work albeit weaker than the original return springs. A very useful box set of assorted tension and compression springs nonetheless that will likely prove useful in the future.

Needed a new spring for my work bench and one of them fitted perfectly and now I have plenty of spares for anything else that might need one. Good assortment and good price.

I'm giving this product five stars because it's exactly as described: a good range of sizes of springs, just as per the picture, in a nice plastic box to keep them clean and tidy. They aren't any use to me at the moment, because they are super-lightweight: they'd be great for small toys, perhaps, or small constructions (I'm thinking Meccano). I needed a spring for a gardening tool (a long reach pruner) and these are nowhere near up to the job: but I won't downrate them, because I don't know how springs are "rated" for strength, therefore it's my fault that I bought the wrong thing. (I thought that "heavy duty spring" would be something like a suspension spring on a car!)

Was able to replace a vanished spring from a live rat trap with this, even stronger than the original!

Un bricoleur a souvent besoin de ressort ; plutôt que de tenter de les réaliser moi-même, j'ai eu la chance de tomber sur ce produit, qui correspond exactement à mon besoin du moment. Je remets actuellement en état un carillon "Westminster", et il me fallait les ressorts des tirettes d'arrêt des sonneries.
