Quality is fantastic. I spent my first evening with my new bonnet and I am a very happy customer. My hair was ready for the day when I woke up this morning. Packaging was wonderful. Laundered & air dried my bonnet prior to wearing and no issues were found. No loose threads or misshapen seams. The seams are all enclosed to avoid snagging or ripping of your hair strands. Lightweight & breathable fabric. Doesn’t get hot while sleeping. Real quality silk fabric, not satin. Which is preferable for any hair type. I purchased the buff pink colour and it’s my favourite so far. I will be purchasing a bonnet for every night of the week, I love these colour options. I do highly suggest this particular style because it doesn’t leave elastic marks on your forehead and is easily adjustable to your crown size. This style reminds me of a nun’s habit. It’s attractive. I have a very large head (24”) and still had room for long & thick hair (25” L). Doesn’t transfer colour onto pillow casing like cheap satin fabric does. Comfortable all night & soft. If you have short or long hair, doesn’t matter your gender if you want to protect your hair, maintain moisture, and retain length wear a silk bonnet to sleep. No more bedhead. No more breakage. No frizziness. The price point is a little high but the quality is also very high. I do highly recommend this brand and product.

it’s such a waste of silk, product was insanely tight on my head that it was leaving lines in my forehead in my ears, and making my piercings swell up, so I cut the elastic band, but the product still doesn’t stop slipping off. It slipped off when it was too tight and now it slipped off because it doesn’t have enough grip in the lining. Just cause it’s 100% silk doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. That 90% silk is OK because sometimes you need a different material to grab the outlining of a face. Due to how tight and vigorously have to wear in the fact that it slips off if I even move funny in bed. Bonnet has caused many nights waking up and literally getting my earrings and hair yanked on, this brand has made me extremely frustrated with bonnet shopping, the reviews seemed good, but the product wasn’t, at least I have some silk that I can repurpose into something actually useful

I wasn’t sure I’d like wearing a bonnet to bed; so, it was with much skepticism I wore one for the first time ever. Honestly, I was really looking for something to keep my head warmer as I slept while keeping the home temperature between 68-73 F. Our bedroom is the last room in the HVAC trunk, and tends to be the coldest room through winter. I’ve had HVAC techs try to make adjustments, but it remains the same. So, I decided to try a bonnet…like in the old Christmas poem. I decided on a silk bonnet to keep everything natural…so no satin/synthetics. I also read silk is suppose to be warm when needed…and cool when needed…being natural. Honestly, it was only a little warmer wearing it with my long hair. Now I’ve heard all the hype about silky bonnets helping with frizzy hair, but I truly saw all that as gimmicks. My straight hair, however, has become more frizzy the more grey my hair became. The unexpected surprise in this venture to wear a bonnet like in the old Christmas poem…dang…I don’t have the frizzy grey hair anymore. My hair without the frizz is shiny and straight again. Having never worn anything like this before, I did struggle putting my hair into the bonnet. I now bend over to let my hair fall down with gravity and twist it all together while holding the tight twist with one hand. While still bent over with my head upside down, I tuck the hand with the tight twist into the bonnet while pulling the bonnet up onto my scalp before releasing the twist. I quickly adjust the elastic part to the nape of the neck and pull the straps criss cross over the elastic and to the forehead and making sure the strap is flat and smooth across the bonnet. I tie a tiny bow over the top of the flat band of the bonnet over my forehead. I do this because I don’t want to sleep on a budging bow. And with the bow not being against my skin, there is no imprint on my forehead after removing the bonnet in the morning. If others want to arrange the elastic portion over the forehead, that’s fine, but for me, that would leave an elastic band imprint on my forehead every morning. I would love for there to be an option not to have the elastic…just a smooth band. I would also love for there to be more length on the bonnet to accommodate really long hair as well as more length on the tie straps to tie the bonnet on the forehead. For my original intent with this purchase, warmth was nominal, but the reduced frizz was an unexpected pleasant surprise! The bonnet was silky smooth and soft, without any lining. It is a one size fits most depending on the way the user chooses to wear the bonnet. I’ve a small skull; therefore, anyone with a large skull may not be able to wear this as I described I’m doing. For larger skulls, wear the elastic band near the forehead and tie the bow over the elastic to cinch it snug.

The silk feels authentic, very soft, light, and breathable. I really like the pink ish color too. I decided to upgrade to real silk from stain bonets bc I am so tired of the frizz on the top of my head, and satin bonets falling off. This nightcap accommodates my medium length hair easily and I hope to one day grow my hair to the mid back length of this item. It has an elastic section in the back that forms to your head to prevent slippage. I then tied the ribbons once in the back and once in the front until it felt secure, but not too tight. I am glad they thought to make the ribbons that long. Very excited to sleep with it and test if it falls off. I doubt it will, but so far I really like this bonet.

Lilysilk sleep cap did more than I expected. I brought this cap because 1. I have dreadlocks and my lock are waist length. With that said, I wasn’t expecting that wearing this cap to still be on my head when I woke up!!! I was just over joyed. Thanks lilSilk. Now can you make some for surgical settings??!!!

Very nice bonnet. I'm a big Lilysilk fan and although their products tend to be on the slightly too pricey end of things, I have tried other brands and always seem to come back Lilysilk for the quality and feel. I probably have most of their hair bonnets and accessories for different reasons or occasions and love them all. Have also purchased some for gifts as I love them so much. I have very thick, long Asian hair and find this bonnet perfect for keeping my hair neat and silky while sleeping. Very happy with this purchase and everything I've tried from Lilysilk so far.
