UGREEN 4-Slot USB 3.0 Flash Card Reader

Quite a nice product, i bought it to fit my CF card for my camera snd it recognised my card instantly. Was worried that it may not detect on my MacBook machine but it connected with no problems. Its nice and fast, the build quality its nice and has plentiful of card options. It works well with my macbook and windows and with an adapter to USB-C it works with almost most of my devices. Would 100% recommend to others

Not just for PCs, also compatible with most modern Mobile Phones. Had this for a year and its been flawless, well made, looks nicer than some, and no strange incompatibilities. Gets data on and off the cards as fast as they will go by design, and works with the majority of memory card types in common use by consumers. Only way it could be improved upon is updating it to also include the new, niche card format CF-express, however this only tends to turn up in use in extremely high end digital stills and video cameras - of which usually have an onboard high bandwidth USB C connection now reliable enough these days to negate the strict need for an additional dedicated card reader for that one use case.

Great for the older specification cards but can't read all of the newer, faster SD card types. At least mine doesn't read SDHC or above.

Speed seems to be as expected, nice and snappy, and putting a CF card is a lot easier and more confidence inspiring than other similarly affordable offerings. With others it can feel a bit precarious putting the CF card in the slot and like you have to be careful or precise when inserting it, whereas with this model it is easy - an obvious and smooth slot. It sounds obvious but the last CF reader I bought off amazon was a little bit cheaper, but it felt like I was going to break either the card or the reader every time I used it. There was just too much play in the slot to be safe or practical. With this UGREEN card reader the tolerances are nice and tight so there is no doubt when inserting a card. I continue to be impressed with UGREEN products, they seem to strike a good balance of being affordable but also not crap. I only with it had a detatchable USB-C cable instead of the built in USB-A, but in fairness compact flash is hardly a popular or contemporary memory card.

Good value and works well.

Works straight away with all my different data storage devices both at home and at work making it ideal to have a single device to bring around versus a daisy chain of adapters. Nice compact size, acceptable speed when in use and is a great tool to have for anyone who uses a computer in general

Good price card reader USB C works with most cards and formats good transfer speed depending on your system as well nice and neat and easy to pop into a bag.

I mainly use this card reader for CF cards. Some card readers have issues with CF card pin alignment, but this one works perfectly - no fitting problems at all. Definitely a strong recommendation!
