Love this harness and wish Id bought it years ago ! My little Westie Jack has some, what shall we say , um strange phobias and I never know whether someone or something , another dog etc , will frighten him and cause him & me stress trying apologise for the snapping or barking , the spinning around on his lead thing or indeed the Houdinini like ability to escape from any type of harness or collar ! I have often been seen exiting a conversaton with another dog walker very rudely as Mr Jack has yet again taken offence and escaped from his harness or alternately had to avoid a dog and his owner who is "safe " because again Mr Jack has decided not to like that dog or person on that particular day ! Very embarrassing , stressful and,even though I can talk for Wales , I get really fed up with having to apologise & explain myself and my dogs irrational behaviour . So now its down to the approaching doggy people whether they talk or not as all I have to do is point at the bright yellow harness with the obvious "nervous " wording and I am totally releived of all my obligations as another dog owner - good for days when you`ve had an argument with husband , kids etc or just feel anti-social as you often do when youre menopausal - me , not the dog obviously !! So , on a sensible note this is a worthwhile bit of kit and certainly for me does the job , it is well made , strong and easy to put on a fidgety Westie and the colour is great - dont hesitate if considering one - and - the best bit - Mr Jack has not escaped not even come close - success ! I also think the styling gives him some sense of comfort and security as the chest area is held quite securley so not allowing him to put much force into pulling at all . Now , I need one for me .... that says "nervous of ..... cooking , cleaning etc " ! Excellent product ! UPDATE : this item has now been unusable for about 2 months as its frayed badley with gentle normal use . I dont have faith in its safety at this point so am having to throw it away . I can see plenty of others have had the same problem so maybe Dexil need to revise their design and fabric type as its obviously not strong enough ... I will be asking for a replacement as 6 months usage is not very satisfactory given Ive had other harnesses for over 5 years ! The idea is great though .

Great quality harness, bright and noticeable. Easy to put on, washes well and is durable.

The smallest size was too tight and the next size up is a little too large but it works sufficiently well. At least it is big and bright and noticeable. It has meant that people take a different attitude towards my little rescue dog which means he can walk in peace, alongst his happy and confident big sister.

Perfect fit for my 14kg dog, looks great, good quality and bright material. I have a rescue dog who is very wary of strangers and big dogs. Other dog owners are now more respectful and give my dog more space and call their dog away from mine. The result I wanted when I ordered this item!

Probably fits well if dog has short hair, but otherwise not. I don't recommend for rough collies.

Good harness

Bought this with the lead and I really pleased. What my poor dog has gone through over the years with dogs off leads! I resorted to the no dogs set but it didn't work as his behaviour was misread. I will say that this set is stronger than the other I had ( not sure if it's made by the same people) but with both I have used a stronger harness incorporated . It fits well and is comfortable as he pulls. Clearly displays his issues and our lives are easier going out instead of people thinking he's an aggressive jack russell. I got that constantly to which I used to explain that if you had been attacked 3 times you would be panicky too! Further update, we have used this with a stronger harness underneath which clips together on the lead really well. Still worth every penny, even the vet commented on what a good idea it was.

I love this item, having a rescue dog that is terrified of everyone and everything this lets people know there is something up with him and usually stops them letting their kids come screaming across shouting "Doggie...Doggie". It saves a world of arguments too. I have a thing with parents that let their kids run with open arms, screaming and laughing towards strangers dogs. This item lets people know that he is nervous and not available to be cuddled, patted or baby-talked to. Unfortunately, I don't think everyone can read because they still try to approach him and he still tries to get away. Being a black dog it stands out against his coat so is very noticeable also very strong, he has tried to get away from people/dogs and this stops him in his tracks before or he would run in front of traffic. Easy to wash, popped it in the machine on a 40 wash and came out nice and clean, may need to buy another one though as it is starting to dull a bit. Overall it is a good buy and a fantastic warning idea.

Love it! I purchased this for my super timid foster dog just in time for his new family to adopt him. It fit like a glove! I especially like how it has two rings to give you the option to place the lead on the back or the chest. I also purchased the matching leash, and I know it will help them when he's out on walks. He's so adorable that everyone wants to approach him, but he needs to build some confidence first.

Great idea, it's so bright and easy to see, people see her coming and give her her space. The sizing was a bit large so I took some tucks in it. Good quality. Tip: if your dog is afraid of harnesses, stuff it under your shirt for a couple of days so it smells like you, it was much easier to put on that way.

le harnais est très bien et très solide , seul bémol trop petit , les tailles ne sont pas réellement bien adaptés mais sinon c'est un très bon harnais .
