Quality

For the size and price this is an amazing bargain. I try to do a lot of Asian cooking and it made sense to me to buy this for that reason. I transfer it into a smaller bottle and keep in the cupboard while the rest stays hidden in the pantry. My only gripe would be the salt. This is very salty as I have noticed other reviewers mention and they are not wrong. I would use little of this in your cooking.

This oyster sauce from Lee Kum Kee is the real deal! It's an amazing taste addition to so many things... from gravy and stews to scrambled eggs to marinades for anything. It's a thick sauce, cooks into food rapidly and easily and sticks to stuff if you like to brush it on as a glaze. The bottles are the right size to last just long enough that you don't worry about it spoiling. Buying in a tray is good value and you will use them all!

Excellent product. Really tasty. As pointed out, it is very salty, but I love that. I usually add msg or soy sauce to others I've tried. My item was delivered intact. I thought I'd point this out as I've seen lots of reviews of broken bottles. And in fairness, looking at how it's boxed, with no separation between the bottles, I can see why they get broken so easily. The external packaging by Amazon was excellent though.

Purchased this and it was still in date. Went to use today and it had mould. I read a comment on here saying they had put water in to make it easier to decant and they found mould. ****** Just like to clarify: Mine was in date, stored in fridge, i didnt decant used from bottle. No interferance used as intended. Still had chunks of mould. All over the lid and throughout. Of course i didnt realise until i poured it over my food. I would say use quickly caus 4 weeks later even in fridge mould. Its a real shame ive had to bin it all. Upon opening is a really nice sauce. Longevity for the size not so much.

Die glutenfreie Austernsauce von Lee Kum Kee überzeugt mit einem sehr guten, intensiven Geschmack. Sie ist würzig, leicht süßlich und verleiht Gerichten eine authentische asiatische Note, ohne dabei zu dominant zu sein. Beim Kochen eröffnet die Sauce viele neue Möglichkeiten. Sie eignet sich hervorragend für Wokgerichte, Gemüse, Fleisch oder auch als feine Würzbasis für Saucen und Marinaden. Besonders positiv ist, dass sie glutenfrei ist und somit auch für Menschen mit Unverträglichkeiten gut geeignet ist. Die Konsistenz ist angenehm, lässt sich gut dosieren und verteilt sich gleichmäßig im Gericht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt eine tolle Würzsauce, die in keiner Küche fehlen sollte. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
