Flensted Mobiles, Swallow Mobile

This is lovely, moves beautifully even with only the slightest air movement. So well balanced and delicate, hoping to buy the swans also in the near future.

Stylish and minimalist. A huge hit with my baby who coos at it rather than crying for attention when she wakes up! Very simple, probably not that difficult to make and the swallows are made of card but the mobile is nicely finished and a lovely design. The swallows move with small amounts of movement in the room because they are so lightweight. So actually card is probably better than wood, plastic or metal for something this size. It is probably a little smaller than I expected so do make sure you read the dimensions before you buy. Flansted also do a 5 swallow version.

So peaceful and beautiful. Stuck to ceiling with a Comand hook and the shadows cast are gorgeous, as well as the constantly moving swallows. Brings serenity to any room. Price is good for the impact. Thanks!

Delicate and eye catching. But very expensive for what it is. Also not quite balanced, my swallows were all flying almost upright, heads in the air. Had to fiddle around with some sellotape on their backs to get them to fly more realistically.

Really disappointed with this. After seeing other versions I thought this seemed a good purchase. The birds look dead as they don’t sit upright. Even more so when you fold them and they hang upside down. Tried various ways to make it look good but I ended up putting it in the bin! Don’t waste your money on a bit of paper and wire.

I've had the same swallow mobile for 4 years now. It hangs above my bed..... and I watch it move. It's relaxing... peaceful. You'd think with it being paper it would have worn out by now... but it hasn't changed. It's still as perfect as ever... and survived a house move. I have a new grandson... and have been pondering what to buy for him. I decided this would be ideal ....so this is the second one I have bought. I think it will be perfect for him.

I have just hung this mobile above my baby’s cot, and the swallows are all hanging tail downwards! I’ve handled it very carefully, creased the backs properly, and made sure the threads aren’t tangled. I’ve tried weighting the swallows this way and that with tiny pieces of Blu-Tack, but nothing seems to work. Disappointed, but hoping that a more scientific mind than mine can work it out! Time to invite my brother up for tea, I think.

This was a gift for my mum and she loves it. It look really nice in real life and it’s very peaceful to watch the birds moving around

生後3カ月の赤ちゃん用に買いました。元々気球型を持っていましたが、2つ飾ったところ、ツバメの方がいいみたいで、喜んでいます。目が見えにくい時期ですが、目で追いかけてる様子を見るとほっこりします。

This is one of the most beautiful hanging mobiles I have ever seen. The swallows glide gently and appear so realistic. I have the mobile in a corner of the bedroom. In low light it appears as if their winging are gently flapping as they move.

It was avgift for my mother, so I can’t return it since she sis not keep the box. Bit the swallows hangs upsidedown and not as displayed.

I like the overall effect of gently gliding birds. I was a little puzzled about what part of the bird should been seen best from below, because they don't all hang evenly. I think folding them in the middle helps a bit, but they could be strung better to create the best view. Mainly the instructions enable this to happen, but not 100%. (You definitely need to hang them very high, and not in a place where tall friends can walk into them.) I already have different artisan birds hanging from wood beams in my kitchen, so the mobile fits right into this theme theme. The only complaint: I'd like to see more than 2-3 of these Flensted mobiles resembling the original ones by Calder (without identical copies of course). Other than that, I like these "indoor" birds, and find them soothing.
