Very nicely put together cupboard with a light oak varnished finish, perfect as a smart looking storage solution in virtually any location. Comes fully assembled and well packaged to minimise transit damage (ours arrived unscathed). We have ours as a hall unit underneath the coat books and I have cut access holes in the back for all those loose wires (telephone, modem, vacuum charger etc) that would otherwise hang loose and be so tempting for the puppy to chew. The shelf is adjustable up or down, and with it on its lowest setting gives plenty of storage room while the wires, plugs and extension lead sit neatly on the lower shelf. The doors are held firmly shut by magnetic catches top and bottom. Delighted with this and will happily order more as storage for office and conservatory, and will also look at more items from this range.

This cabinet is very well made and comes ready assembled so no need to reach for the screwdriver! It is a lovely compact solid wood unit and tones well with the other oak furniture in the room. The internal shelf is adjustable which is really handy as I could move it up and down to accommodate my items. I had read a few reviews that said it had arrived damaged, but mine was well packaged and there is no damage at all. Very good value for money and I would recommend it.

I love the colour and laquer finish of this cupboard, which provides good storage for small rooms. The only reason I didn't give 5/5, is because on one side of the front there are a couple of patches where the laquer hasn't reached. The un-laquered bits of wood make a pretty pattern so it doesn't detract from the look too much.

The unit is just as you would hope from the photo. A good solid unit, nice oak finish. One solid shelf inside. The backing, although not solid oak (as per item description) it is not the flimsy back, but a good, solid piece of veneer. The magnets holding the doors are very strong. The unit comes with a wall mount strap; not sure it's really required as the unit is sturdy; but as mentioned, you have to give some pull opening the doors. The packaging was top professional. Good outside cardboard wrapping. The edges protected with heavy-duty cardboard strips. Corner padding; polystyrene front and back and then shrink wrapping. Courier text in the morning with a 3 hour delivery slot. Arrived 30mins after start time. Perfect.

The Good: well packed, v fast delivery, solid hardwood (albeit with the odd ugly knot), seems robust, decent for price paid. The Bad: let down by some shoddy workmanship. Upper hinge not attached to right door. Would not have bothered me if screws missing and I simply had to drill and add these. However the screws had been fitted and heads broken off, meaning threads stuck in wood (presumably overtightened on assembly). Door held on with loose bent nail! (See photo). In the end (see below) I had to remove door to drill out upper thread (too tiny for extractor) & fashion plug to glue in hole. Was able to carefully drill another hole for lower screw alongside broken thread. Not how I planned to the first couple of hours of Saturday morning. The Ugly: contacted seller day item arrived and unpacked (Tuesday). Received reply same eve asking for photos. Sent these and no response since, despite enquiring Thursday if my previous email had been received. Gave up on dealing with company to request a replacement & decided to just repair it. Disappointing. Bought for family member to give some storage for sewing hobby. Instead of tidying things up ended up with less space: defective item & big cardboard box full of packaging (in order to make return). Over a few days this became too inconvenient to put up with. Consequently I couldn’t recommend this product or seller. Photos show repair to door & finished unit- I replaced metal knobs with oak ones.

Excellent product. Beautifully packaged. Fits perfectly into the space I had intended it for. The delivery was delayed but I was kept in touch all day. The delivery men had already had a very long day (11 hours) day when they arrived but they were still friendly, kind and helpful. They still had one more stop to make before a 200 mile drive home. The service was cheerful and helpful. Can’t fault either the item or the delivery service. First class.

Was looking for a wooden shoe cabinet for the hall which would take 6 - 8 pairs of shoes. This is just the perfect size for me. It came already assembled with only the handles to be attached. It is a solidly constructed cabinet with one shelf, does the job & for the price paid is a very good buy. I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 as the handles are cheap & were scratched. I've since replaced them with a better quality pair. Other than that I'm delighted with my purchase.
