SunSense Lip Balm SPF50+, Face Sunscreen

One con: it’s VERY hard to squeeze out of the tube for some reason. I’ve been on the hunt for a high SPF lip balm that moisturises while not giving me a bitter taste. This does exactly that! It’s high protection, very moisturising almost like a gloss but absolutely NO stickiness, and it lasts long. I might have noticed it makes my lips look slightly paler almost like a tiny bit of a white cast? But maybe you just need to rub it in more. Either way I’m very satisfied with this and it has become my holy grail, especially while being so affordable ♥️

I would 100% recommend this product for moisturization and sun protection. No nasty after taste which is great. The last 2 times I've bought this, the product is hard to squeeze out. My very first tube didn't have this issue and it was fine. I would use it regardless. Worth noting for manufacture improvement.

This is without doubt the very best product I have ever used. I am severely prone to cold sores anyway and the probability of me getting an outbreak at anytime is likely, but in the sun, regardless of what factor sun cream or lip protection I use, that probability becomes a definite certainty. This year, I returned to Greece again, for the fourth consecutive year, and I was dreading the inevitable outbreak. Prior to going away I decided to search for something online since the doctor told me there was "nothing they could prescribe or suggest." I came across this product and started reading through the reviews, and I decided to give it a go based on what I'd read. I even allowed myself to momentarily imagine a holiday that wouldn't be ruined by cold sores caused by the sun. *gasp* Well, I spent four weeks in Crete, in August and into September. There was a heatwave while I was there, the temperature reached 45c on several days, and I was laying and swimming in that searing heat all day long, every day, be it at the beach or by the pool. Not. One. Cold. Sore. Usually, after a couple of days in lesser temperatures my lips are blistering, and once that starts it's just a complete nightmare from that point onwards until I'm home and dunking my head in Zovirax ten times a day. As anyone who suffers with cold sores knows, once the blister happens, or the tingling starts, it's basically unstoppable, and then just turns into a monstrous beast that will make you miserable and just ruin the rest of your holiday. Sunsense prevented all of this. I didn't notice any funny smells or taste from the product, it leaves a nice, moisturising shine on your lips and it really does do what it says on the tin, it PROTECTS your lips providing you apply it regularly as instructed. I think I topped mine up every time I felt it had absorbed into my lips. Every couple of hours. You get lots in the one tube, more than in most of the other similar products on sale, my tube of Sunsense lasted the entire month and is still about a third full. Seriously, buy this stuff if you struggle with cold sores ruining your life while you're on holiday. It's like a miracle in a tube. I love it, and I would never be without it again. And so cheap!!

I have purchased this lip balm many times. I use it every day, not just when the sun is shining, because it is very moisturising. The SPF 50 is why I originally bought it but it is now part of my daily routine.

My go-to lip balm, I used to get hyperpigmentation on my lips especially in the summer but this has completely stopped it, been using for about 2 years now.

I like the Sunsense 50+ lip balm. I don’t like that you can’t buy just the lip balm.My recent purchases have come with two small tubes of children’s sunscreen both past their use by date.

I’ve gone through so many lip spfs and don’t like them because they make your lips look pale/grey, especially for skin of colour. This is the first one I’ve really liked. Has a little bit of a pasty look to it but I use it on top of a lip tint and it looks great. Really moisturising and soothing to the lips. Stays on for hours. My lips usually get really dark in the summer but this year that hasn’t happened and I think it’s because of this. I moved to Texas last year so I’ve definitely been exposed to a lot more sun. This was recommended by Dr V, a skin care specialist for skin of colour and her recommendations are always wonderful. Will be stocking up on these
