Have bought this before as my hair started to get thin and falling out (several 1p-sized clumps when washing my hair every time). No clinical cause suspect it's my age (66) or perhaps due to being under stress for a long period. After about 3 months of washing daily or every 2nd day there is a distinct difference. Not so much hair falling out and my hair is definitely thicker. My hairdresser has noticed the difference in the thickness of my hair. Having been brown haired - now grey, I switched to the brown one using it every 2nd day which was working out ok. Made my hair blonde but then it kind of went yellowish so now trying the brown one for grey hair. Ok so far but I only use it about one a week to keep the grey at bay. Tip: if using the brown shampoos/conditioners it is advisable to wear gloves as you nails get a bit brownish. I stopped using it and my hair started falling out again, so am back to using it once every 2nd day. Nice smell, lathers up nicely. If your hair is thinning, it's worth trying it out.

I have been using this shampoo on and off for a few years and only noticed when I stopped using the increase in hair loss while washing my hair and combing afterwards. I have hair loss due to the menopause and use this along with Teeaza hair oil, marine collagen supplements and biotin tablets. All 4 have helped and also made my hair grow very quickly and even my eye lashes have gotten longer, which is from the biotin, but using all 4 products is helping with my hair loss internally as well as externally. I do not take the supplements together and using the Teeaza oil I leave on overnight. I also apply the Plantur shampoo first thing when I shower, then wash my body, shave etc to allow the shampoo to work for at least 5 mins. I use a hair wrap to absorb the water. I use a wide tooth comb through my damp hair being very gentle combing very small sections of my hair at a time while holding the top of my hair while combing the ends to prevent hair pulling. I also sleep with a silk hair wrap which helps prevent hair loss. I understand it may seem like a lot of hard work and expensive, but it honestly isn't. I gave up using conditioner as it weighed my hair down making it look lank and was making my hair soft, which I know it's what it's mean to do, but at the same time I was losing more hair by carrying out the conditioning process. The Teeaza oil also acts as a hair treatment so if you have fizzy hair or want a conditioning affect, the oil will work as one as well as a hair thickening treatment.

I suffer from post natal hair loss and have quite a few weak patches of hair. I've been using this for about a year and I can see a slight difference, more in the volume and thickness than length. Would recommend a try if your suffering from thin hair

I used this today for the first time and what a surprise ... after drying my hair the thinning areas were less noticeable and my hair especially my fringe looked fuller and less see through ... I felt more confident and less self conscious ... even my husband agreed ... before I used a Volumizing dry shampoo between washes to create a thicker look but this shampoo does the job without creating the dryness the dry shampoo caused ... As for lathering up it was good for me ... but I always wash my hair twice ... so I used a normal shampoo first then the Plantur 39 and left it for 5 minutes before rinsing and applying my Aussie conditioner ... I cant wait to see the results after long term use and am hoping for more improvement ... I dont expect miracles in my 60s but anything that can make me feel less self conscious has to be a good thing .... Im hoping to start HRT soon and Im hoping the combo of the two will change the menopausal loss for me ... for me price wise ... yes its not the cheapest but worth it for the self confidence boost it gave me

It's a nice shampoo, doesn't seem to be doing much to stop my hair loss.

I've been using this for 8 now months and it works well. I have very thin hair and was experiencing losing some but this helped. I am also using the conditioner and the toner as well. Price is very reasonable.

Will keep using it and can really recommend it.
