AC Infinity AIRPLATE T3, Quiet Cooling Fan System 15cm with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets, 6-Inch

Congratulations to AC Infinity for producing the beautiful AIRPLATE T3 kit which saved me from buying the components (whether I would have been able to source a thermostatic probe & controller is another question!). All thought has gone into this product - from the aesthetics (the brushed metal facial looks perfect in the living room cabinet I converted) to the function (it keeps the temperature at a steady 31 degrees) to the components (includes templates for accurate hole cutting and both screws and bolts for different materials). Before I installed this extractor fan the BluRay player, the Humax and Panasonic disk recorders, the Roku and the BT YouView box pumped out heat in the enclosed wooden cabinet which required the doors to be left open in the summer. Now I have yet to see the temperature rise above 32 degrees. And an alarm will sound if it does! Terrific kit.

Thought about building my own and using a raspberry pi to control the fans and monitor temperatures. I came across this product and thought this is a no brainer. Absolute quality, very good price when comparing to buying separate components, super quiet fan with loads of room for expansion. I’ve built this into my home network cabinet and boy does it look the part. So impressed I’ve ordered some additional fans. Would definitely recommend. Thank you AC Infinity

Update: the seller sent a UK/US plug adapter super quickly over bank holiday weekend which arrived Monday. I was worried that it would need a power converter but this was not the case. Plugged it in and immediately started working. Very impressed with the product and the seller. Many thanks. This looks and feels like a great quality product but I can’t power it because there was no Uk power adapter supplied. I do not want to simply use a US to UK adapter due to the power difference and am a concerned I will blow the unit so I am waiting to hear back from the supplier. I will update this review when I hear but until then I have a great looking fan installed that I can’t use!

I don't often leave a review but had to for this. The quality is great, it feels sturdy and the brushed aluminium gives a nice finish. It's modular in design for adding more fans. The fan has a male and female adapter so more can be chained in if needed. If you need to cut into a surface to mount either the fan or control unit it comes with templates for marking out the recess and bolt holes. All of the cables have plenty of length if you're going to mount the control unit a distance from the fan. I modified my small rack so I could mount the control unit to the top.

Professional from the get-go. Simple to set up, templates provided to correctly cut the right shape to mount, clean lines, just what I needed. My only reservation and its probably not really a fault of the unit as such, is that I don't think its powerful enough to maintain and/or hit the target temperatures (I have a NAS sat on a shelf in a closed cupboard in an attic where the attic temp can easily hit 30 degrees). I'll see how things go but today it was reporting temps in the cupboard of 32 degrees and didn't seem capable of returning it down to the target of 28 degrees (the default value). Maybe I need a push/pull setup?

Don’t normally write purchase reviews, but I am so impressed with this device that I decided to commend it. As a retired electronics engineer with experience of cooling equipment cabinets on a commercial scale, I chose this product to ventilate my domestic cabinet. Am really impressed with the build quality and the functionality of the control panel,- exactly what I needed! Also the fan is really quiet!

Great system for price, packaging really nice, quality components. Would be nice if there was a surround for the rear of the fans to hide the cut out and make neat the inside of the cupboard. The controller's ability to change the fan speed based on the temperature is really neat. Can run as many as 6 fans off a single control unit.

High quality product, well thought out design. Fan controller has very good intelligent control/options. Fans are quiet. Keeps my cupboard temps much lower and under better control than an alternative solution/product I tried before this. Including templates for drilling and cutting holes is a great touch. Has a premium feel, even the packaging.

El termostato funciona excelente y el ventilador es perfecto para sacar el aire caliente del mueble. Se mantiene fresco el receiver, solo que es recomendable poner un ventilador en cada lado para que el aire circule mejor. La instalación es un poco complicada segun sea el material del mueble

Algo más ruidoso de lo que pensaba pero desde luego perfectamente diseñado, empaquetado y fabricado. Muy útiles sus guías en plástico para marcar el empotrado en la madera. Tras un año y medio de funcionamiento sigue perfecto

Wi-Fiルーター、2BAYのHDDスタンド、2BAYのHDDケース、AVアンプをアクリル扉付き木製キャビネットに収納していましたが、中の機器を使用するときは、アクリル扉をその都度開けていました。それでもHDDスタンドを使用するとよく熱暴走して困っていましたが、スピードコントローラー&ファンセットに追加のファンを1台取り付ける（吸排気）と熱暴走しなくなりました。取付には半日以上かかりましたが大変満足しています。 さらに、なんとポイントが50％もついているので、良い買い物をしたと思います。

Um den Frau-Akzeptanz-Faktor (FAF) zu erhöhen, war der Plan, die Technik des Heimkinofans in einen Schrank zu verstecken. Das hat auch wunderbar funktioniert, aber nach den ersten Filmabenden wurde schnell bemerkt, dass es bei geschlossener Klappe im Schrank SEHR heiß wird. Da es nicht der Sinn war Filme mit geöffneter Klappe zu schauen, musste eine Lösung her. Dabei bin ich auf die Geräte von AC Infinity gestoßen. Da das Gerät perfekt zum Marantz Receiver passt (wegen der Bauform) und auch von der geringen Höhe auf den AVR passte, wurde der Lüfter bestellt. Amazon lieferte pünktlich. Die Hoffnung auf eine Lösung war groß. Aufgestellt und angeschlossen. Was soll ich sagen, ich bin begeistert. Die Einstellungen sind sehr einfach. Das Gerät läuft im Betrieb sehr leise und erledigt seine Aufgabe. Bei der eingestellten Temperatur fängt der Lüfter an zu arbeiten und zieht die Hitze aus dem AVR. Echt Klasse! Es gibt bei den T-Modellen die Unterschiede, wo die Hitze ausgeblasen wird. Oben, Hinten oder Vorne. Ich hatte mich für vorne entschieden. Das kann dann jeder selbst entscheiden. Da der Schrank aber vollkommen geschlossen ist, musste die Hitze noch nach draußen. Auch hier hat AC Infinity eine Lösung. Kurzerhand auch den Lüfter mit einem, identischen Kontrollelement wie im Gerät, bestellt. Der Schrank musste nur entsprechend ausgesägt werden (Super Schablonen. Liegen bei). Die Geräte sind wirklich sehr hochwertig verarbeitet! Es sind hervorragende Lösungen, wenn man Heimkinofans Geräte in einem Schrank verschwinden lassen möchte. Klar könnte ich die fehlende Fernbedienung ansprechen. Oder das die Geräte nicht Abstellräume sind. Aber Solen si das eigentlich? Sie müssen noch „arbeiten“, wenn der AVR oder ähnliches abgeschaltet werden. Ich habe meine Lösung hier gefunden und kann dies nur jedem empfehlen, wer sein Equipment vor Überhitzung schützen will.
