Absolutely love this product. Bought it on an airline about 18 months ago and have used it ever since. Uses for any skin irritant or just for moisturising are endless...its not a cream as such but a balm which to use just rub a small amount between fingers until it looks/feels like oil (don't be put of by this) then apply ...it penetrates the skin quickly and does not stain....in the recent heat its been a life saver for heat itches, amazing on dry feet or any dry patches and appears to do wonders for your nails! Just a class all round product...added bonus natural ingredients....

All purpose cream is the best, it works well formy dry hands and lips. Brilliant, simple ingredients. Definitely worth to have

This changed my skin overnight. Really impressed. Lovely consistency, feels a little oily at first but sinks into your skin and leaves that lovely supple, glassy finish. Perfect for a night cream, not so sure I'd use as a day cream unless I had the time to let it sink in for a while before applying make up. Will buy the bigger tub next time!

Never use this before thought I would try it. It does take awhile to soak into the skin if that’s not something that you mind then your skin feels lovely and soft afterwards.

Out of about 30 tried and tested moisturisers, this is the only one that made a dramatic improvement to my skin irritation. I had blepharitis for about 6 months with dry, itchy, red skin around the eyes. Most creams were no help or made it worse, most likely due to added chemical ingredients. After a week of using Egyptian Magic, the problem had pretty much disappeared for the first time in 12 months. No additional steroids used. This cream contains very few ingredients and all natural. Thank goodness for this cream. I urge anyone with irritable skin to try it, alone or as an adjunct.

So I do like this stuff, however, it is so gritty. Some other reviews state this too, while others say theirs is smooth. I don't like the grit, and don't know why it is in there as it doesn't state this in the product info, but mine is more like an exfoliating scrub than a moisturising product. It says you can use in hair and as a make up remover, no way I would put this in my hair, it would be a nightmare with the gritty bits, and I wouldn't use it to remove make up either. This morning I used it and it scratched my neck badly. I'm very disappointed. If it didn't have the grit I'd really like it.

Love this stuff. This is my second tub- the first was bought for me as a Christmas present and I’ve been using every day since. My advice is use ultra ultra sparingly. The way I’ve found is best for me is get your hands wet with warm water and using one clean dry finger tip get about a quarter to a third of one piece of sweetcorn sized amount and rub it between the palm and finger sides only of your wet hands , then dab this on the areas you want it applied to and if your hands are damp enough this amount will do your whole face, neck and chest. Don’t over apply! For the first few days I didn’t find this enough but gradually it became the correct amount. Rub any remaining in as hand cream. I use it after showering on my whole body, (without towel drying) as well and the tub has lasted me three months. Hope this helps.

Disappointed - Greasy Texture and Suspicious Particles I really wanted to like Egyptian Magic after hearing all the hype, but my experience with this product, compared to the one I usually buy from Costco, has been disappointing. The texture is far too greasy- it just sits on the skin for hours without absorbing, leaving a long-lasting oily film. I have developed an allergic reaction on the face for the first time after using the product for 10 years. Even worse, I noticed undisolved particles in the balm, which made me question the quality control. The excipient feels heavy and waxy rather than nourishing. Unfortunately, this product will go straight into the bin, and I would like to warn others about purchasing from this company.

Great for winter & super dry skin but not in a humid environment. Too oily & sticky.

Great for dry skin and for mature skin. Can also be used as a lip moisturizer and any dry rough patches of skin on the body. I use it primarily as a face moisturizer especially in the dry winter months.

As a first trial, I used the cream on my chapped and dry hands. Too greasy and doesn't soften the skin. I'm going back to my previous hand cream. I'm glad I bought a small jar, as, for now, I'm not a fan.

Worth the hype

I purchased this based on a friends recommendation. The clean, simple ingredients were a huge part of the appeal. I’ve been using for about 2 months before bed on my face. This product has been a great moisturizer to use and I’ve noticed an improvement in the lines on my forehead. There’s no scent and it’s not sticky at all. Glides on easily but some people may not like that it doesn’t absorb immediately. I personally don’t mind and this is why I use it before bed. By morning my skin feels great and it ready for my morning routine without feeling like there’s still excess product on my face. You also only need a small amount. I’ve hardly made a dent it it after 2 months of use.
