Crankbrothers Egg Beater 3 Pedal

I read some reviews that weren't very positive about the durability of these but I decided to buy them anyway. I race cyclocross and the 4 side entry makes them superior for CX in my opinion, I'm clipped in quicker after the start and after the hurdles. I've also found they clear the mud better. So far no issues with durability but I've only been using them for a few months. Really pleased I went against the negative reviews, I'll be sticking with these from now on regardless of any durability problems, even if they only last a season they are much better for racing.

I've always used Crankbrothers, the quality is always good. I had previously used Candy but thought I'd give the eggbeaters a go and I'm very happy.

These pedals fell apart after 9 months. I bought a rebuild kit but it wouldn't work as part of the old bearing was stuck inside the pedal body. So more wasted money and time. I do think that the return window should be at least a year

Upgrade from my very old series one Eggbeaters. For years i had managed to bodge repair them but it was finally time to upgrade to a new pair and retire my old faithfuls. Great service from the seller and they arrived in good time.

Can't beat egg beaters and the new "3"s are better than the old design. They spin noticably easier (well, in the hand at least, probably you couldn't tell when riding) and should be stronger because the axle inside is tapered instead of having lots of abrupt diameter changes. Of the new design these are probably the ones to go for, the best egg beaters without getting crazy expensive and using titanium.

Always used shimano paddles in the past, but a friend recommended crank brother eggbeaters to me, so I got some and very happy with them, definitely recommend them to anyone The only down side of these peddles is the paint comes off quickly

Superb. With more float than my shimano spds which may not suit all by my knees love it. Zero vertical pull out issues on my MTB. Great for the weight saving weenies too.

These pedals are rock solid. I've had problems with eggbeater 1 pedals durability, but the 3's are much sturdier.

見慣れない外観とは裏腹に、とても使い心地の良いビンディングペダルです。 何かと脱着機会が多い街乗では、軽快でルーズな脱着感が、私のお薦めです。 以下の3点が、個人的に使い心地か良いと感じる部分です。 １）脱着用のスプリング径が大きい （安定した脱着が可能） このペダルは、装着した瞬間に気付かないほど、動作がスムーズで軽快です。 外したい時は簡単に足が抜けるのに、少々ラフに引き足を使った程度では外れません。 ２）脱着面が４面ある （脱着面を捉える動作は不要） ビンディングペダルで最も煩わしいのが、脱着面をつま先で捉える動作ですが、 このペダルは、足元に視線を落とさずブラインドで装着できて、トゥクリップよりも簡単です。 ３）軽くてペダル軸に荷重が集中 （クランク軸をスムーズに回転できる） 実測_144g（片側）、付属クリートは僅か13gです。軸中心に荷重が集中しており、更に軽く感じます。 ペダルが軽ければ、自然と綺麗なペダリングとなり、意外と楽にケイデンスを稼げます。 スニーカーなど普通の履物では、一見して使い辛そうですが、結構普通にペダリングできます。 逆に言えば、スニーカーで普通にペダリングできる状態が「ペダル軸と足裏との正しい位置関係」です。 フィット感は、SPD-SLよりは多少ルーズですが、街乗りやツーリング程度であれば充分です。 別売のコンタクトスリーブで調整可能ですが、フィット感と軽快な脱着感は、相反する要素です。 グレードにより、材質や回転部仕様が異なりますが、重量や耐久性を除けば、機能的には同じです。 下位グレードの＃１などは、初めての方にもお薦めできる、買って損のないビンディングペダルです。

Un producto de excelente calidad, pedales como bien dicen todas las reviews, de una calidad maxima, con un enganche y desenganche perfecto. Ademas hay que añadir que este modelo ya permite reparaciones, lo cual es un plus a lo largo del tiempo.
