Universal OBD Power Cable for Dash Camera,24 hours Surveillance with mode switch button (usb)

Using the REARMASTER Universal OBD Power Cable in a Dacia Sandero 2019, powering both a Vantrue E1 and Kawa dashcam. Both are working without problems, recommend.

This cable worked when I tried it but by time I routed it around the dash etc it stopped powering my dash cam. Wouldn't work again. I'm guessing any pressure applied to the cable behind plastic trim is enough to break it or something. No use.

Tested this on my Alfa Romeo Guilietta 2013. Easy fitting, and tested continuous mode and surveillance mode. Just don't forget to configure your camera (mine is Garmin mini 45) to use parking mode (if the dash cam supports it) when the engine stops. No battery drain so far but the again I drives most days of the week. Happy with it.

Does what it says it does, with the option to permantly power a device with the ignition off, or to power it when the ignition is switched on, so ideal for a dash cam when you need to have the vehicle monitored while parked, in a supermarket car park for example, or to activate the camera only while the engine is running for normal on road use.

The plug that goes into the cars obd port is very long and so means the trim cover cannot fit back. This was true of by Hyundai and Nissan vehicles but apart from that is brilliant.

Rapidement livré et fonctionne parfaitement.

Previously had a micro usb version of this but with this I decided to get a USB female adaptor instead this time. The product is very good quality for the price point, works exceedingly well too. Simple and affordable way to have your dash camera wired into an always on feed, and will automatically turn on in parking mode (with the exception of low car battery which the device will detect) so its almost like it is hard wired but for a lot less.

Trovata per caso mentre cercavo valide alternative al collegamento con presa USB per la dash cam e la striscia di fibra ottica per la mia auto. Acquistata con un cavo che sdoppia le uscite USB e collegata alla presa obd della macchina, in pochissimo tempo ho completato l'installazione di tutto senza utilizzare collegamenti e cavi alla scatola dei fusibili e alla batteria. Comodissimo poi l ' interruttore per poterla lasciare sempre alimentata o meno. Ottima

Permet d’alimenter facilement n’importe quelle Dashcam (USB) de manière discrète (la cable/branchement peut être totalement caché) et efficace (2 modes d’alimentation : 1) mode accessoire = coupure d’alimentation automatique 5 minutes après la coupure du contact du véhicule ou 2) : alimentation continue = dashcam toujours alimentée pour utilisation en mode parking, tant que la batterie du véhicule ne descend pas en dessous d’un certain voltage pour éviter une décharge complète de la batterie du véhicule en cas de stationnement prolongé) Cet adaptateur permet de brancher la prise USB À de la dashcam sur la prise OBD (diagnostique) de votre voiture. Ceci évite de devoir utiliser la prise allumé cigare (qui est au milieu du véhicule) et/ou de devoir se connecter dans le tableau de fusibles et de risquer de décharger complètement la batterie du véhicule). J’ai choisi le modèle avec prise USB femelle afin que ce dispositif soit compatible avec n’importe quelle dashcam équipé d’un câble USB type A pour brancher à un allume cigare et sans avoir à me soucier du type de connecteur utilisé côté caméra (mini usb, micro usb etc ...) Je peux donc changer de dashcam en conservant ce boîtier
