Perfect for my dyslexic mind . I would recomned it highly .

Lovely drawings related to the zang fu and the channels.great visual learning aid for the visual learner and as a basis to make your own learning cards too around these subjects.and who doesnt love colouring!

Although I am a complete acupuncture novice, I enjoyed colouring in this book. I purchased an acupuncture point chart to help me better understand the book. I am now eager to learn more.

Useful but be aware that it's produced by the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine - so if you're studying at a different institution you may find it confusing. Some of the information has varied from what is in my school's manual. I did find it helpful though to just edit the information accordingly - and the colouring pages are a nice break from flash cards and writing out points info again and again. They gave me some inspiration for a shorthand to use when writing out points for rote learning as well.

I'm just about to enter the second year of my acupuncture degree and was finding the huge number of points and functions a little overwhelming to say the least. By using this book and learning one channel, points and functions a week I'm finding it a little more manageable. I'd really recommend this book to anyone learning acupuncture. I wish I'd know about it during my first year, it would have made things far less stressful.

Brilliant book to enhance your learning

As other reviewers have said, you'd be better off creating your own book to help you remember the points. It's a shame because the idea was good. Perhaps someone a bit more savvy will publish something better! A waste of money.

I,m very disaponting with this book. I hoop be much better- no,t helped for me. Meiby for yongest people, but for me (after 50) no,t working. Other no,t gut thing - i need find in other books, from which side start channel points- down or up. When i opened this book- i was in shock- that much me no,t liked.

I rarely post reviews but was extremely excited to receive this coloring book. Memorizing from Deadman's or CAM can be exhausting for any grad student attending a Traditional Chinese Medicine school. This book helps me take mental breaks and lock in the more commonly used points. I brought it to school with me and tons of classmates wanted the book, it's important to support the author and buy this book instead of making photo copies for friends. I tend to use Japanese fine tip pens to color in like juicy or maica but I assume one could use any of the pens folks use for adult coloring books.

The book is cute, but quite honestly it is not a great study guide/aid, at least in my opinion. It tries to make up mnemonic rules to help you remember paths and functions, and explains these at far too great a length... The colouring part is absolutely secondary and is just more decorative than functional or even helpful... If I want to relax by colouring, I'll do Mandalas or something like that. I would not recommend this book to any TCM student, far better to just get blank body models and draw the meridians, at the end of the day you will end up knowing what you need in your daily practice and will not need the supposed mnemonics proposed in this book, as you can always access your notes or even watch videos online that give more detailed explanations of meridians and their functions.
