Easy to Use and a great deterrent so nobody goes snooping in your medicine cabinets.
These do just as they say they're going to do! I love that there's a combo lock on them, so I don't misplace the keys for them LOL! they are very easy to put on the cabinets and very easy to take off. They are no frills, but do the job properly and that gives me peace of mind knowing my medication is locked up and out of reach of my kids.

Functions well
Functions well for keeping babies out, but not for theft. Easily breaks if pulled hard enough. Otherwise I use this for keeping the kids out from cabinets and French door closets

Great, once you figure out how to use it
Like many reviewers, I couldn't figure out how to reset the passcode (and there are no directions.) Turns out, you just remove the lock from the rods and use the little metal tab packaged with it to push in on the reset button. It will push in all the way, which makes it seem like you broke it. But you didn't--just change the dial to your new passcode and put it back on the rods. If you push on the button it will slide off. But once you spin the dial away from the new passcode, the button won't push in and you can't remove it. Now that it works, I will review the lock: It's plastic, but I actually like that it's light weight and won't scratch the cabinet. It's great for child proofing and wouldn't require using a passcode--just the fact that you have to push the button to pull it off the rods to remove it is sufficient to keep a toddler out. I use it to lock my liquor cabinet. It is plenty sturdy and can't be broken into. But I hope that if I forget the passcode, I'll be able to cut the plastic lock off without damaging the cabinet doors.

Kind of Cheap... Good for Tiny Kids
For basic infant / toddler child deterrent, these are just fine. Tiny kids don't have much strength... But for older kids, I'm guessing these wiil be seen more as a challenge of "let's just see if this can try and keep me out!!!!" They're made of fairly cheap plastic, and although in initial install state, they DO KEEP a cabinet from opening... just a few more pulls and pulls and yanks and tugs, and the plastic stretches out a bit to allow at least reaching into the cabinet, and maybe even with more continued tugging, to allow the thing to slip off. You really have to PRESS HARD on the plastic shackle to get it pushed in AS FAR as possible to consider things locked as well as they can be. But as I said... even best case scenario, these WILL NOT keep wily teens out of a gun cabinet or liquor cabinet... They're just a small challenge of "oh, yeah? let me prove you wrong!" So be mindful of what you're really protecting. Small kids, reduced protection... SURE, no problem. Older kids or adults and higher-value targets to protect, these ARE NOT the right locks for that.

Not just for babies! Great for med cabinets, kitchen sharps, liquor cabinet etc.
I am a foster mom and we lock away all sharp objects as well as medicines. These are perfect!!! I didn't know anything like this existed. I change the combo often as prying eyes will sneak a peek! Highly recommend!

I found these to be the most effective anti tiddler locks. Can be used only on adjoining cupboards and some in our household found them fiddly. But I find them very effective.

Absolute junk. Snapped on the first try. So weak even a toddler would bust it open in seconds.

Its not easy to use. You have to try really hard to spin the passcode dial. Not recommend it
