This otterbox phone case is perfect for me. I work outdoor and spent alot of my free time outdoors too in my free time. So for me and phone case needs to be rugger and take a few knocks. After almost 3 years my phone only has minor scratches on the screen and thats when I went a couple of weeks without a screen protector. The soft rubber casing hasn't any tears or missing bits and the hard inner case has a crack near the screen facing cammer. I personally remove the plastic screen thats covers the phones screen. I just didn't like the tactile feeling of typing on it. So i carefully removed. This does cause the phone to move a bit in the case. Having a screen protector on help reduce this. This doesnt totally stop it so i put the microfiber that comes with the screen protect behind it, handy to have too. I would say that you probably reduce the water and dust resisstance. I'm happy with that rade off though Also I find i actually have a better hold on the phone with the bigger case- not so small that it canbe fiddly. the Soft case is grippy to. Will keep buying this case or similar alternative for future phones

I love it! It's my 3rd one and I can honestly say it saved my phone's life so many times. I used to smash all my phones within the first month or so as I do a lot of very outdorsy stuff and it ends up often hitting a rock or dropping from a very high. It was even protected from water as it has multiple layers. Since I got my first otter box nothing's happened to my phone. It also makes it look more sturdy and less like a thin fragile thing which I honestly love. Nobody knows what model of a phone I have as well, which is fab! (nobody tried to steal it so far as it looks thick ;) ) I have my phone since 2019 and there's not even a scratch on it. The cases suffered a bit with me, I destroyed the external laver (rubber) and cracked the skeleton, but again normal people wouldn't have this problem. It's super easy to use, so no chance to do something wrong. I rarely give 5/5 stars but I'm in love with this product!

The otter box defender is a great buy if you’re looking for a case that will protect your iPhone 8 from knocks and scrapes. It’s sturdy, the inbuilt protective touchscreen is surprisingly useful and the clip/kickstand works well to prop the phone up to watch videos. I’m very impressed with the quality for the price. Couldn’t be more pleased with it. Perhaps the only thing that it lacks is a card slot but I can’t think where they could stow it on the frame. I’m very happy with the purchase. I only wish I’d bought it before the slightly flimsy protective case and screen shield I had on previously had allowed tiny cosmetic scratches on the phone chassis when the case fell off a magnetic clip and span for ten yards across tarmac on a garage forecourt. Although they mostly did the job, I feel the tarmac would have come off worse if this had hit it! Confidence inspiring.

Got this to protect new iPhone SE 2022 from constant daily use in work. It tightly encases the phone and offers great protection. The charger cover is handy as mine were always getting clogged up with dusty. It makes the phone fell very sturdy and grips well in your hand. The case does make the phone bigger but but not too big. It looks neat. Only slight issue is the plastic screen protector. Although it picks up all the keystrokes fine, it initially felt a bit ‘tappy’ when typing. I seem to be more used to it after a couple of weeks of use. The fingerprint id is covered and works well but I’dvrecommend redoing your fingerprints with the protective cover on it. One thing I don’t understand is how this case is 100% waterproof because the speakers, camera and earpiece are not covered. It’s certainly seems protected against spillages anyway.

A little bulky but a superb product that protects your phone and keeps it looking like new, even if phone is dropped, the case offers great protection! You can also buy a stick on glass screen protector and when you use both together, there is no way the I-phone screen can be scratched as the covers will take the hit! (Simply replace stick on glass as required) My only draw back being is you have to press down slightly harder to flick through apps and other things on screen when using the phone. This however, you quickly become used to and becomes unnoticeable to the phone owner, (over a short period of time). The phone belt clipper also doubles up as a fantastic screen stand when you watch films/tv. You can also use the clip to attach the phone to the back of the headrest on the seat in front of you on a aeroplane. This allows for perfect eye-line for watching films/tv programmes during flight. (when allowed to do so) I would recommend this phone case above any other. Combine with the stick on glass protector to give the i-phone the ultimate protection available.

One of my favourite cases - protects against most drops and falls, only downside is the touchid cover regularly gets dirty enough inside to stop working, but it's easily removed. Just don't try to use it in the rain, as soon as it's under the screen protector it'll need drying out before anything works.

This is my second one of these. The original lasted over 3 years and only needed replacing when the rubber trim started to perish. Slight reduction in sensitivity of touch screen, but I didn’t notice it after a while. Gives top end protection, you’ll know if you need one.

It's good generally and protects well but after 3.5 years the rubber case is disintegrating and Otterbox do not seem to offer the possibility of buying a replacement rubber case only.

I got the new iPhone SE an told the wife I'm never getting a case. She said the way you drop things get that otter case. I have nerve damage an have a hard time holding things so this case was a great idea. I've had it a month an it's likely saved my phone a dozen times. As you can see in the pic the screen protector has already taken a beaten. I drop it daily an it's still in great shape. Thanks otter box. Gamer_gramps on twitch

This case is really good for your iphone. It’s really easy to put on your phone and it will keep your phone safe no matter what. The quality is really good.
