Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil Original 100% Pure Castor Beans Oil For Hair, Eyelashes And Eyebrows 4 oz

I have used castor oil before but it made me break out in spots, this version on the other hand has not, I bought it for my hair line and decided to put some on my eyebrows and eyelashes. I suffer from dry eyes and wake up in the morning with parts of the skin surrounding my eyes really sticky and crusty and sometimes when turning off the light I get a flash of light like a ring of light in my vision which does not last long, well since using this oil the dry eyes have improved, no ring of light when turning the light off and no more sticky eyes in the morning, plus my eyelashes feel silky and soft. It does not irritate my lash line like other castor oils I have used in the past. After using this on my scalp for a week I am noticing that my hair is not shedding as much; usually if I leave my hair for a week without washing it after the 4th day I get a nasty smell and my scalp itches this did not happen by the 4th day. I can now wash my hair once a week thank goodness, if I wash it more my hair dries out.

This is quality stuff right here. It had a neutral smell, and while it’s quite thick, I pair it with my moisturiser and it gives my skin that added boost. I’ve mixed it with tea tree oil to address those cheeky fungal spot on my chin and forehead, and to help my nose piercing heal. I’ve mixed it with rosemary oil to oil my hair before wash day. Highly recommend this over other castor oils.

This is an amazing product which works well for your hair! The packaging was great and neatly packed. The only downside is the scent- strong and not very nice. However, I am pleased with my order and will definitely buy again!!

Haven't opened this yet but I've used this Sunny Isle JBCO before. I noticed an improvement in my hair on my temples (damaged by years of plaits and cornrows) within a week, but I stopped using as it made my hair really hard & it started to matt up. It basically had the same effect as protein (my hair is v protein sensitive). Consequently, I stopped using it after 1 -2 months, but I'm going to try it again & hope I find a way to manage the hardness with other products that soften the hair. Having said all that it really does work. My sister has been using it on her eyebrows (which I'm also planning to do) & although she didn't see any difference at first she can see an improvement now. In addition, I've been on different hair forums since 10+ yrs & the majority of women said it worked for them. I'd definitely recommend trying, but perhaps test it on a small area for 4 - 6 wks first, esp if you already know you're protein sensitive. NB If you actually have a medical condition or male pattern baldness, it may not work (esp the latter) unfortunately.

The product is good

The product itself is exactly as advertised. However, the packaging is very poor. The box came open, which could of easy fell out. It also seems like the bottle had already been opened as it had been leaking

This stuff is amazing, been using it for a few weeks now to wash my face (I have super oily skin so massage it all in and wash off with a warm washcloth) for hot oil hair masks to stimulate hair growth (massage it into your scalp once or twice weekly, leave on overnight if possible and wash out the next morning) and on my eyebrows to help them grow back (apply after you've cleaned your face every night) and as I say it's only been a few weeks but my eyebrows are growing back SO fast compared to before I started using this stuff, and my blackheads have never been so diminished! It mixes great with other oils (I mix it with coconut and jojoba oil) and obviously essential oils so you can make some super lush beauty products! Lovely bottle, speedy delivery, really pleased!
