First time I have used this and I would strongly recommend it. My petrol mower wouldn't start after a few months of not being used over the winter. I removed the filter, sprayed this into the carburettor hole. Left it stand and pulled the pulley. First pull and the mower started.

Would work in a petrol engine, I scrapped mine.

Used on Honda mower that was hunting. I lo bought carb seals etc just incase. I removed filter housing and filter. Started mower on choke/ start. Started mower. Left to run for bit. Whilst running sprayed this into air intake in short bursts until it ran smooth (which was only a few shots. Switched choke to run and done again. Black sooty smoke from exhaust every time. Ran clean and no longer hunting 👍🏻

STP Carburetor sparay works well on old and new carburetors and choke units on heavy petrol engines. i have used it on a 3.0L 4 cylinder Mercruiser engine and was good enough with a few sprays during engine off and running RPM. Please be careful during engine running as this is highly flammable. Helps clean the internal parts without dismantling to quiet a good level. would recommend to avoid use directly on o-rings or seals...as the solvent might damage them. as this one is a carb spray and not the injector spray..which have a milder chemicals in it. Highly recommended for serious mechanics or very sticky, gummed carburetors which need deep cleaning without dismantling. while using with engine running ensure the throttle lever is open over 50% and give short burst of spray...ensure moving the can away as soon as you spray inside the butterfly area...best if you can use a spray pipe( normally supplied with WD40 cans.
