Nice for mic'cing up small combo amps
I'm a bedroom guitarist and this thing is real helpful when paired with a shure MV88+ USB Mic... pretty sturdy, stable and easy to use and maneuver.

Good quality for a low price
NOTE: At the time of writing this, I've only had this stand for a day. If I have not edited my review, you can assume my impressions have stayed the same for a longer time. Packaging of this stand leaves a lot to be desired, having come in in a squished cardboard box, and put in a plastic wrapper. Thankfully it did not seem to be damaged during transit. The stand itself is very nice, and first impressions are very good. As soon as I started setting this stand up and adjusting its various angles and lengths, it felt like a high quality one. It is a relatively short one, but I use it while sitting low in a chair, so it's perfect. The base pole of it is about 45cm / 18'' long, and the mic pole is about 35cm / 14'' long when fully extended (Excluding the handle, which cannot be used to extend it further). You can increase or decrease its general length further by adjusting its 3 base legs(?) and the mic pole angle. The mic stand also has a good weight to it, making toppling relatively difficult. My mic pole is set to about 45° angle, and it has no intention of falling over, unless I considerably bump it. This stability can be further increased by adjusting the 3 base legs. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stand!

Really good, definitely worth it for the price!
Very happy with this, sturdy enough and it works well. Considering the price, it's a great stand to have. I wouldn't recommend having this for regular stage use, as the screw on the main pole broke, so it no longer locks there. But for occasional studio use, it's perfect. Good height for a snare drum mic, okay for kick drum. I also tend to use these for an extra floor tom, guitar mic or even low room mics.

Excellent quality
I have purchased a few mic stand recently but this one is by the the best in quality and in price. In using it to mic up the drums and was smart enough to buy 2. Looking forward to using them at the next gig and may be back for another one soon.

A very good mic stand
Purchased this mic stand as I wished to mic my amp which does not have a line out (Fender Blues Junior, used on a stand). I was looking for a stand with good reviews at a reasonable price. This stand with its excellent reviews and price, free delivery stood out. I ordered it on a Saturday afternoon, it was dispatched on Monday and arrived Wednesday (48hr Royal Mail). The stand is well made and sturdy. It has a die-cast metal base, chunky clamps for the base and boom, a couple of cable clips, a threaded adapter, as well as grooved plastic/rubber feet. It will easily hold and support a Shure-type dynamic mic with no problem. When in use, the centre pole can be dropped down to floor level or pulled up to the underneath of the base, therefore extending its height slightly. When dropped down, the height to the boom arm (horizontal) is about 40 cm, if pulled up, the height is about 48 cm. If the boom is extended as vertically as possible, the maximum height to the top of the arm is about 62 cm, or about 78 cm if the centre pole is pulled up. In addition, if the legs are not fully stretched out, the height can be increased a bit more, to say 90 cm, but with reduced stability. If I needed extra small mic stand, I would definitely purchase another one.

Owned it four years and only just used it! And I like it.
I bought this as a backup for a stage show I was filming, but never actually needed to use it. Four years on and I have just found it and used it on another project. It's a very good price for what, in fact, is a pretty decent stand. Not the best quality, and I doubt it would take daily punishment, but if you need something that will last for years and be abused every day in a professional situation, you really shouldn't be cheaping out in the first place! I mounted a small diaphragm condenser mic and shockmount on the stand and it took the weight well. In fact, I also tried it with a shotgun in a big Rycote mount and with the legs pointed correctly it seemed stable enough. This won't replace my four times as expensive, heavy duty stands, but as a backup, or when I just need an extra stand, it does a great job. Recommended. UPDATE: I've just bought another one at an even better price.

Solid
Needed a short stand to mic up a cello and this does the job perfectly - Will probably do anything from about 20cm from the ground to waist height fine. Easy to adjust to a useful position and all the clamps tighten easily - not used it for long though so can't comment on longevity. Impressed by the stability. Heavier mics might be problematic if you over extend, but you can always just weight the legs if you really find yourself needing an awkward position. I used a Rode NT1A with a shockmount, which isn't a light combination, extended slightly beyond the feet and never felt in any danger of tipping. Rubber feet are grippy on solid surfaces and don't feel like they'll split or fall off. Only used with a shockmount for my mic so can't comment on how noisy the stand itself is but seems fine for most use cases. Great value for money - can't see any point in spending more unless you have really specific requirements for a professional environment.

Buena calidad para lo económico que es. Lo uso para sostener micrófonos de instrumentos (batería, amplificadores de guitarra y bajo), y cumple su función perfectamente. Tiene bastante peso, lo que hace que tenga una buena estabilidad.
