Helix 300mm Metric Triangular Scale Ruler, Red

Good scale rule, markings are clearly marked, can't fault it

I studied architecture at undergrad and it is very useful for this, it has most of the scales we used bar maybe one which was easy enough to work out using the other scales. As a student i travelled a lot and as a clumsy person I dropped it a lot so I can say that for a plastic ruler it is very durable until if course you try using a scalpel with it... that did not end well for my 1:100 scale but it still worked for measuring, just not for drawing straight lines. I had a metal version which was better for cutting but not so great for everything else. This product is very light compared to it's metal opposition, even the aluminium sort. It also doesn't make a horrible clatter and clang when you drop it in the middle of a silent studio. So yeah, great buy, great price, I would 10/10 recommend.

Came in a nice crinkly paper package. The first feel of it was very plasticky as if there's maximum friction. Overtime, when it became slightly more oily from my hands, it became smoother. The corners do need to be sanded down though. Overall, it looks like a good tool. I'll be using it in my building Surveying course. So far I've just used to to trick my sister into thinking it changes colours.

Ruler works well for drawing scaled diagrams as part of a college course. Clwar and easy to use. Good value.

Just another tool in my technical drawing equipment. very helpful when working to scale.

Good scale ruler for the money

Does everything expected. Markings are clear and easy to read and the colour coding is helpful.

What is really good about this ruler is that there are so many different scales to choose from on it so you do not need to buy multiply scale rulers. The fact that the ruler is triangular in shape makes the item easy to pick up off and move around the paper. Each triangular side has a central coloured line, red, blue and green for easy 'at a glance' reference as to what side you may need. If you want something light, easy to work with and not too worried if you lose it then this item is perfect (brought for £3.25)
