Discraft 175 gram Ultra Star Sport Disc

This is my dog's FAVOURITE toy. I bought him the glow in the dark one at the beginning of winter for those dark mornings when he was out for his walks and he loved it and I loved it too because I could actually see it in the dark. I bought the yellow one recently so that we had a spare. When I pulled it out of the packaging the dog went nuts with excitement. Took me a while to master the throwing technique and I still need the wind to assist me for longer throws but I love this product and it's one of my favourite things to do with my best pal. Will always make sure I have one of these in the car and one by his walking gear so that we never miss out. Well worth the money - it really is a quality product. Sturdy and effective and comes in great colours.

I've not played for 20 years but now that I've just turned 60, I've bought one of these with the hopes of (a) remembering how to be the Frisbee ace I once was and (b) getting my two screen obsessed nephews to do something in the fresh air. As I say, I've not played for a long time, but the moment I picked up this Frisbee, it was like meeting an old friend. It's the same feel and weight as the ones I used 20 years ago - for sure - you never forget. The under-rim finger throwing grip came back to me, like riding a bicycle, when I picked it up. This is really the genuine article - the DEFINITIVE Frisbee. I can't wait to get out there with it and hopefully enthuse the nephews to do something real for a change.

Bought this ahead of going on vacation and it's been great to play with in the sea and on the beach, but also back home in the park. Flies well. Not too bulky. Recommend

It's a good frisbee, but to be honest it's not worth the premium over a £2 petrol station job, at least for playing with the kids with.

A solid frisbee which I imagine will last me for quite a few years unless I force feed my dog to eat it. It's a cool design, it doesn't tip over due to wind and it's weighted. Additionally it isn't made out of that cheap plastic that can slice your skin due to friction.

Bought this to play with in the park with our daughter and our dog. Read somewhere that dogs see blue and yellow better than any other colour. Turns out, ours prefers yellow as she barely acknowledged this (blue) one buzz passed her head and was more interested in a distant tennis ball she had spotted. Very sturdy material. Not the sort of thing a dog could chew up before you get to it after a catch (should your dog want to). Also, either I've got a poor memory or frisbees have become harder to use, because I found it harder to throw than I remember as a kid. But my friend plays frisbee at a national level and they use this one, so I guess it's just me! Good product tho. Recommend.

As a family we have had lots of different sizes, weights, thicknesses, etc. I am always apprehensive buying expensive things, but as soon as we started using this I knew it was the right choice. Even with my 8yo we were managing over 20 throws back and forward straight away without dropping it. It flies better than anything else I have ever had before. No question. Regarding build, it is reasonably hard, but with enough of a very soft flex in it. It's also heavy and large enough that it needs a reasonable wind to throw it off course, but is also easy to pick up and throw. Was it expensive? Yes - probably as much as several of my others added together. Was it worth it? Definitely - it's the best I have by far.

This is a spectacular ultimate disc, combining discraft's signature retro star design with a glossy, slightly-transparent look. For those who live in very sunny or snowy places, the blue color will give the contrast you need to see it. As for capabilities, the disc has a very grippy feel, and rests comfortably in the hand, allowing for more controlled throws for a longer duration. And my, does it throw well. If you are familiar with the game of Ultimate and can decently throw a disc, discraft will give you smooth and fast throws, cutting through the air with the precision of a scalpel. For advanced players, you can hammer, forehand, skip etc. with ease. A warning to those without experience, it is very fast, and the weight may catch you off guard when catching. On this note, your hands can get hurt no matter the skill level if you play for a long time, and it is necessary to understand that it's a hazard for any disc, but you should judge it by comparison to other brands and models. It truly does catch better than anything else I have tried, from other ultimate discs to recreational discs like aerobies, with a nice rim that you can quickly grasp and hold, and I completely understand the decision of the Ultimate Player's Association to approve it for their championships. Finally, the quality. As I mentioned before, the plastic has a grippy feel, and radiates perfection. The plastic is sturdy and slightly flexible, meaning that if it is thrown against a wall, you can bend it back into proper shape. The weight of 175 grams means it can easily be fit in a backpack and taken to a campus, park or beach. This is a great disc for all skill levels, for introducing beginners, for teaching those with some experience, and for increasing the skill of those with lots of experience. My one critique is that the rim does wear easily, and rough spots start to appear when it lands on a gravel path. This does not significantly lessen the catching or throwing experience, but it does make it less comfortable to hold, and will show signs of use. This is not a concern if you are playing on a turf, but on a campus it is something to keep in mind. To summarize, this disc is amazing, wrapping quality, comfort and accuracy in a beautiful model that will make you the envy of the park.

Bello da giocarci e lanciarlo stabile e preciso si vede bene anche al buio regolare agile divertente coinvolgente in gruppo o in due da usare in spiaggia all’aperto e anche al coperto sui campi di pallavolo senza rete crea amicizie e rilassa da stress e pessimismo aiuta a fare la pace tra arrabbiati divertente anche e sopratutto in acqua specie nel mare calmo e anche con le onde e pure in montagna e al lago e nei cortili delle proprie abitazioni e nei parchi pubblici e privati si possono creare squadre di gioco amabili e per competizioni anche di alto livello prova ne sia il fatto che tanto in voga in molti paesi del mondo è anche economico come sport e poco faticoso insegna la disciplina e il rispettò nonché la formazione personale dell’individuo in tutti i suoi aspetti anche quelli profondi super okey molto gradevole educatore profondo e immette allegria e benessere fisico e mentale per chi lo pratica e anche per chi lo osserva e inoltre può fer nascere relazioni gradite e indissolubili che possono durare nel tempo e formare nuove famiglie sane dalle quali generare tanti figli che fin da bambini intraprenderanno questa passione e protrarrà nel tempo e facendola conoscere ai compagni di scuola e amici i quali lo diffonderanno a tanti altri a loro volta finché a forza di veicolarlo di persona in persona e di paese in paese e di città in città e di stato in stato e di nazione in nazione e di continente in continente tutto il pianeta sarà un corpo unico e potrà succedere che un giorno lanciando un disco dall’Australia e volando di mano in mano potrà attraversare qualsiasi localita arrivando fino all’altra parte del mondo come a creare una sorta di catena umana che unendo tutti i popoli di qualsiasi razza e colore e etnia farà finalmente generare solamente pace e consapevolezza eliminando tutte le guerre senza senso che travagliano l’umanità fin da quando esiste l’essere umano che sarebbe stato creato senza malizia è cattiveria ma nel susseguirsi dei secoli e per la voglia di conquista e di potere tutto è stato messo in discussione ma un bel giorno qualcuno ha inventato il frisbee che può fare la sua piccola parte per cercare di sconfiggere il male e regalare tanti sorrisi dei quali abbiamo tanto bisogno e così facendo riusciremo a guarire dalle piaghe che ci affliggono e diventeremo come tanti fratelli che si amano passandoci questo meraviglioso disco giallo complimenti a tutto il team e forza ultimate grazie silvano ornaluk
