Wireless Adapter 4.0 +EDR Dongle Receiver USB Adapter for PS4 Wireless Headset

I was looking to connect my AirPods to the PS4 so I could chat with my friends while gaming. There were so many bad reviews that made it very hard to make a decision. I decided to give a try to this one as it will arrive next day, after a quick an easy installation I was able to connect my AirPods and did not have any issue while playing fortnite with my friends. I did set it up so I could hear full sound plus the chat using the included mic. First day and I am happy I got this one! Update I guess the downside and a very important fact is that you have to pair the headset every time you turn on the PS4. This is a bit annoying, haven’t found a way to solve this issue.

Using Razer Hammerhead Tru Wireless (December 2018 release date) with this Dongle. After some trouble, I got the dongle to connect to my headset (no manual Pairing button on my headphones so had to trust Bluetooth Connectivity). ZERO audio output to the headphones... The microphone dongle worked (tested) but the Audio receiver has failed 100% of the time. To prove that this was NOT just my PS4, I tried this exact same thing on my Google Stadia. Nope, didn't work there either. Let's hope the ps5 supports low latency BT audio.

Really great! I wasn’t too sure on buying it at first but I was like, “Ehh, I’ll give it a try.” For some reason, my headset wasn’t working or something was up and my friends couldn’t hear me when we’d play the PS4 online together so I attached this to it and it’s great! I can talk and they can hear me... only downside was that my friends talking and the audio of the game were the same and I couldn’t lower it so sometimes I couldn’t hear... but still a good 5 stars! 😅

The bluetooth has not given me any trouble. I have high quality headphones and they connect right up. The one star is removed because the bluetooth uses its own microphone for chat---and it isn't good quality. I had once dropped to 1star because it appeared it had been blocked. Changes to system on sony made it a little problematic to recognize after update in september- but after a few reboots, it did actually recognize again after update. Device does work, but takes some tinkering to get it to co-operate ... BTW... the best method to get to work-- make sure ps4 is turned off before inserting chip--- then turn on ps4.

Easy to set up but only works intermittently. Range is short as well.

Not sure why people are having trouble connecting with this... My guess is they are not trying very hard ha. I see some people complaining that they don't get the USB option and cant move on to step 9. I ran into this and restarted the ps4, and it worked. I was sad when my new sony hear on 2 headset wasn't compatable with the ps4. This inexpensive device changed that. 5/5

I was kinda doubtful this would work with my Razer Kraken Kitty BT Headset but it paired fine. There was no audio breaking, clear and clean sound quality in game mode. The only complicated part is that they work just fine with just the USB plugged into the PS4, audio jack not needing to be plugged into controller(The blue light on the USB means it's paired successfully)

The product does not work. Every time you turn off the PS4 you have to repair w the headset, after the second time I tried it would not connect anymore. Since the mic is on the controller it picks up really loud controllers sound. I was extremely excited about the product but it’s useless. Also box came damaged, looks like it was returned before. Looking for better options. Hopefully they can get one out that works.
