Type Talk at Work (Revised): How the 16 Personality Types Determine Your Success on the Job

I recently got certified in the Myers-Briggs instrument and bought this book for some further reading and education. It is a great, simple overview of the 16 personality types and provides some activities to help identify your type. I'm planning to provide this to clients at trainings I conduct from now on. I'd recommend it for anyone interested in learning more about the Myers-Briggs and the ways in which type affects your work interactions.

Excellent Detailed Read about the Myers/Briggs Personality Types

One of the main challenges of any team leader is getting their team to work together and really leverage their different styles. With the emphasis within modern business on "diversity", there are few good definitions about what that means. We have gone beyond the typical gender / ethnic / racial categories to disabilities / preferences and other meaningless classifications. The work on the Myers-Briggs type indicator is by far the best approach to understanding how your team and workplace functions. A leader will be able to better understand the reasons for team's success and failures through the lens of their preferred personality type. This book is easy to read, provides great insights for practical application. Have you ever wondered why someone does what they do? The MBTI analysis is essential to understanding the comfort zone of your team, coworkers and even you spouse. A must have for leaders!

This book was used in one of my college courses. It was great to learn more about the personality types and how they impact our steps towards success in our workplace. I have the book and the Kindle version and enjoy them both. It is a great read.......

This book is great for using Myers Briggs in the workplace. I used it to accompany a presentation I gave on MBTI. The participants were not very familiar with MBTI - this book talks about the types in a very understandable way and places it into to the context of the workplace. There is also some "type humor" in the book that I used to help break the ice. I looked at several books for this application and am very glad I chose this one.

Paid the advertised price for what I thought was a new book. Received in a timely fashion and other than being written in (see photo) the book is in excellent condition.

This book has done a phenomenal job of covering many bases on how personality types function in the workplace. As someone that works closely with others throughout the day, I'm amazed at the insight I've gotten on how people are wired and how each personality type's strengths and weaknesses can manifest. I'm hoping I can get some of my co-workers to read this because I really see a lot of value in the information presented. Empathy and understanding between people can be a very powerful thing.

Very useful

Delivery was very prompt. However, this book was purchased as a gift but came with a dog ear, bent and mouldy. This was extremely disappointing.

Extraordinary, Gives all required information on MBTI.

The subject matter is a complicated but highly relevant one. OKA have managed to explain and apply the types succinctly but usefully from a practical perspective. I straddle an ENTP and an ENTJ which makes for interesting reading and learning opportunities as an investment banker who co-owns his business!
