Rubbish. I am no electronic stuff fan but I would expect if you connect wires as per instructions sth would work. Nothing works, no lights, sounds, nothing. New 9v battery and no signs of life, you can try to change resistors etc, in the end it doesn't work. I don't remember such a bad toy in a long timr.

Certainly would recommend for children who into electric stuff! I do advise though to mark all the items with sharpie, so don't have to rely on instruction as much.

My son got this for Christmas so I spent most of the day assembling the fiddly components, only to find it doesn’t really work that well. A bit of wiggling might get the circuit to work but more often than not it just doesn’t work. I honestly cannot understand how this got past a testing stage and into production.

Whilst I overlooked the part that assembly was required, I didn’t expect to have to actually build the components! And then for it not to work was heartbreaking for me and my niece, who was so excited having done electric circuits at the London science museum, and then seeing this kit in the gift shop. My husband does car electronics, and so far he can’t even get it to work - steer well clear of this if you want to encourage your kid to get into electronics and science!
