Burns Great and one wick burns for hours in my Terracotta Herodias Lamp 🪔 with minimal adjustments.

I had just bought my first small vintage glass oil lamp with a wick included that barely lit up. So, went online and found these at a very reasonable price. They were quickly shipped (thank you so much) and are a very nice quality. I found them to be a little short for my needs so just put two together, end to end. and tied with a little thread. They worked perfectly and give off a strong and perfect sized flame.

Ok, cons first. It is very small, unglazed which means oil will leak through it, and I found the wick that came with it useless. I thought at first it was just a piece of plastic showing me how to put a real wick in. I tried it anyway and it lit and then burned out. Yes I soaked it in olive oil for 30 minutes before lighting it. Pros: it is hand made, and after I sealed it with beeswax there was no leaking, and when I put in a propper round cotton wick it works great. Puts out as much light as a candle. Only burns a couple of hours but is easily refillable. Was also packed well and arrived right on time.

Burn quality seems to be great good value haven't used too many yet, but I would definitely purchase again

I use it to light up luminaires with olive oil, I like the others that come ready to light, anyway thank you.

Good quality product

No valen para un quinque de aceite porque son muy pequeñas y con muy poco grosor. En la imagen de la página paracen las mechas más grandes. Además, no especifican las dimensiones de las mechas individuales en ningún lado. No me ha servido para nada la compra.

J'ai acheté ces mèches pour aller avec une lampe à l'huile indienne en laiton. Les mèches font parfaitement, facile à installer et elles se consument bien. On doit nettoyer quelque fois le résidu noirci sur le dessus mais ensuite la mèche continue à brûler sans problème. Nous utilisons de l'huile d'olive avec la lampe.
