Very sharp, comfortable to hold, nice looking. Was surprised they are not recommended for dishwasher use (according to the box/packaging), but that's a small price to pay for a high quality knives at a reasonable price.

These are really nice knives. Fits comfortably in the hand. The blade and handle are one piece of metal. Smooth and feels great. The blades are very sharp. wow.

I spent some time searching for a couple of new kitchen knives before deciding on this pair. I wanted either European or Japanese, not far east to make sure of the steel quality. I have not been disappointed, the quality is excellent for the money, and I use the paring knife all the time.
