Is this the best brace option for runners knee?

I have both the performance knee brace as well as the everyday use one. My personal opinion is the everyday use one is more comfortable for me atleast. But I switch between the two during cleaning session. They are both extremely good braces. Hope this helps

can i use this after an acl Reconstruction surgery to walk ?

I would imagine that your surgeon would want you in a custom brace to wear for a while after surgery. Once the critical post-surgery period is over you may be able to use this brace which has a hinge that is designed to prevent the knee from hyper-extending. I wear this brace on my unrepaired knee while playing tennis and after the clunky ones I used to wear, this has been so much lighter yet just as effective.
