39-31-41...XS is TOO SMALL.
I’ve bought more expensive waist trainers, and have trained a little before. About me: 5’4, 166lb (I weight train), 34DD, size 6 dress...39-31-41 without the waist trainer. I naturally do not have much of a “pouch”. My stomach is relatively flat. I ordered an XS and it is definitely too small, but I was able to latch it all the way up. I’m going to keep it because the shape I have with this waist trainer is what I’m going for...it definitely gives me something to work toward. I believe that a small would’ve fit, but would have been tight. A medium is probably the size to order if you are new to training. In an XS I can still breathe, but I can’t zip it. I wouldn’t work out in this size. The material isn’t as stretchy as others I’ve bought, so maybe it will last a long time? I’m not sure. My torso is about 1 foot and it fit fine. No underbust pain. If I was to reorder, I would get the small.

True To Size?? UUummmm
The size chart wasn't correct for me. I am 2 months post-op from having a tummy tuck, and currently have a 42" waist. I ordered the 5x which was snug-ish (like wearing a bathing suit), but not as tight as I hoped so I went down a size. Nope. Still not tight enough. (My surgeon had me keep my compression garment as tight as I could stand it so I got used to it being super tight.) Anyway, I decided to skip a couple sizes and finally landed on a XL which is perfect!! It has the support I was looking for and I can still breathe easy! It's great support for my back as well! It also took my waist down to 39". So if you're looking for a tighter fit, considering that when ordering. 😁

Extremely Flimsy
I really tried to give this product a fair shot. First of all it's really flimsy. It gives you no support. Secondly, the torso is really short. To give you an idea, I'm only 5' 1" and my torso is short even for my height. I can't see the hood of my car even with a booster. If I drive in a new car, I have to train myself how far away the front of a car is by getting out several times when parking to see my distance. This product doesn't cover your whole stomach at all. I had to choose where I wanted my gap. Either the top of my stomach or the bottom would remain exposed. I have a big a stomach, I weigh almost 300lbs, but I went by their measurement chart. This ties in my 3rd complaint. If you have a ridiculously small torso and you still want to get this item, because it's so flimsy and stretchy, I'd get a size smaller than the chart measurements indicate. So I ordered a 6x and sent it back thinking it would be better if I went down a size since it didn't offer any support and I hooked it as tight as it could be. But even though going down a size made it hug me more, it still wasn't much and the whole my belly would stick out somewhere issue was still a problem. I would've thought perhaps I'm too big for these, but I recently purchased a different brand and it's amazing. It's stiff but not too stiff, the sizing chart was accurate, it lifted my huge boobs (which are a 44HH in European or 44L in US) and it sucked me in so tight that I can actually see my coochie in the mirror for the first time in years! My only issue with it was that it goes so high up on my back that I can't use it for everyday wear because it sticks out of the top. So, I only use it at the gym. That's why I was trying this product, because the scoop in the back was lower and I'd be able to wear it with normal clothes. Unfortunately, it just doesn't do anything. So, I'm returning it to look at a different brand. I'm really disappointed because the pictures looked so good, but that's not what you actually get.

All in all not bad, not a good fit for short torso though
First of all I have to say that I have a short torso and if you are short torso this product is not the best fit because it ends up waay below hip bones and doesn’t fit properly. My waist is 29’ and I got M size. It runs a bit small, but I can hook first row. In the description they suggest you to wear for 8-10 hours. But I don’t suggest to do so, especially if the trainer you got is a little tight. I tried wearing it for 7 hours and ended up having bruises on my ribs. I also wouldn’t recommend it for exercising, you might end up hurting yourself. At least if you are short torso like me, it might be different for people with longer torso. Nowadays I wear it for 1-3 hours a day and its fine. Plus side of it is that it is thick and helps stay warm and keeps posture. Although it doesn’t really help me sweat or gives any sauna effect. I haven’t seen any results on waist size so far, but it might just take longer. I am also planning to try a short torso waist trainer and compare the two.

HONEST PROS & CONS
PROS: I can tell it’s a great product. The quality is great. It’s very thick & doesn’t feel cheap at all. The zipper is also sturdy. I have an appreciation for the fabric & how awesome it feels as a whole. CONS: Fit/Size: Feels like I have on a casual fitted shirt. Their size chart seems to be off. I’m normally a large in everything. But the chart shows to buy an XL for my size. Like the back is bubbled & not “fitted”. Its not a tight, hugging, suck you in fit. Flexibility: There are about 17 latch style buttons. You have to latch/unlatch all of them every single time you take off or put it on. I think I rather have the belt style. Call me lazy but I really don’t want to do all that every time. Smells: Loud smells of a chemical & rubber. I had to air it out on my patio. I was also slightly afraid to put it on in hopes that my skin wasn’t going to break out or anything. The smell went away after 30 mins.

Seems like very good material. Has some boning for shape, a fit as expected, comfortable, easy to put on and wear for a long period of time. I will be ordering more from this brand
