Germinated so well and sprouts are doing just fine!

Very disappointed, none of the seeds sprouted. So the germination rate is a big 0. I would have been happy with one. I guess I need to go back to the phillipines to get good seeds.

After 3 months
I bought these seeds near the end of summer. Living in San Diego I was hoping to get them at least mature enough to survive colder weather and was expecting my first peppers next year. Was surprised when they started producing peppers last month! I was looking for the Philippine Bird’s Eye Chili small ones like the photos but even more shocked when the peppers started getting HUGE and they still aren’t red! So now i’m a bit unsure if they are the small bird’s eye chili or not. 🤔 wanted them for the spicy since my fiance loves spicy things. Might update when I can finally pick these bad boys off the bush. (bush is in. 5 lb grow bag, about 2-3 ft tall now, and is fertilized once a week when watered). I germinated a total of 8 plants from the individual seeds (threw a pinch in a small cup first and just replanted the 8 sprouts that formed). Of the 8 sprouts, 3 are growing healthy and the other 5 are still small saplings but i’m not sure i need all of them. I still have a lot of the dried seeds left from the bag that I ordered also. I keep them in my cabinet in a dark and dry place.

Didn't Germinate
Im filipino and was really excited to buy these and make my own sawsawan with homegrown chilis. Planted Chiltepins, Scotch Bonnet, Siling Labuyo, and Thai chilis. All germinated except the Siling Labuyo. After buying these twice, I gave up. Hopefully it's just the product and not the climate. I wouldn't recommend these seeds. Better off scouting out an asian supermarket for the chilis and grabbing those seeds.
