I bought two of these as I've hand lifelong knee pain that tends to linger for a couple of days after strenuous activity. I've tried heating wraps and ice packs for years but couldn't ever find the right balance. The alternating heat, cold patterns with the vibrations allow my knees to feel rested and good as new after about 15 minutes post-exercise. As a result, I can recover quicker and exercise more frequently throughout the week. These are absolutely worth the money and a nice treat after a long workout.

The product is amazing and does everything as advertised. I have no medial meniscus in either knee and I play tennis 4-6 times per week. Since my purchase of 2 Therabody RecoveryTherm Knees, I use the Therabody in the heat mode in the car on the way to tennis as a warm-up for both knees for 1 cycle. Then, I use them immediately after, in the car on the way home, on the ice cycle for both knees for 1 cycle. I can get about a quarter of another cycle before the batteries die. Then, I have to wait until they recharge (about 2 hours) before I can do another cycle. Also, the way the battery is designed, you cannot have it plugged in while wearing the device. The port is covered in the battery compartment. It would be nice if they extended the life of the battery and made it possible to use the product while it is plugged in.

Doesn’t charge. Also device came with an incorrect charging cable that doesn’t fit into the plug adapter as both the battery and plug needed USB-c and the cable was a usb. Poor fit and treatment was not that good or effective heat/cold. It’s a bit clunky ans heavy. Disappointed for a known company and no direct ability to communicate for customer service. Product quality and design was not great. Shame given their massager devices had been great. This was not worth purchasing, there are better ones on the market.

Therabody does it again. Solid quality product. It gets very cold. It gets hot. Has three speeds on the massage. Both needs were inflamed from working all day and one session on each knee brought them right back. Highly recommend

Great device! It has helped my recovery immensely. Do prepare to get only two hot/cold cycles per charge. The battery also takes unusually long to recharge.

This knee wrap works as advertised- it cools an impressive amount and heats as well. I'm not sure if the vibrations help, but they feel nice and it is a little more subtle than other vibrating knee devices I've seen. It is a little loud with all of the fans and vibrations. The device fits okay on my leg, I usually wear a Large in knee braces. But I'm pretty close to the max of the velcro strap on my calf, which is 17 inches. I have a picture with a measuring tape to give an idea of the size. I like the fact that it cools without having to take up freezer space, having to remember to put something back in the freezer, and not having to worry about liquids leaking or condensation. Overall, I think it's very nice - but probably more than an average person needs. If you are a serious athlete and want a dedicated device for knee recovery, then this is for you.

The aspect that I found most impressive is the thigh coverage. This is one of the rare leg massagers that provides ample coverage of the thigh muscle (the thigh wrap section is almost 10 inches long). So, this is a ‘true’ full leg massager. Beyond the noted length, it’s a full featured massaging device. It offers pneumatic compression (6 modes and 3 intensity levels), three vibration massage levels and two heating selections. These are controlled via the control pod, which has buttons for each function, and a power button. Above these buttons is a display, which indicates user selections. Being a ‘weekend warrior’, playing sports on the weekend with younger guys, my legs often feel the after effects later in the evening/weekend. This leg massager offers excellent massage therapies to work out those kinks. Setting it up is fairly easy. I start with the foot area, wrapping the straps around, and secured via velcro contacts. Then I work my way up to the shin/calf region, secure the wraps, adjust the knee area, then wrap and secure the thigh area. Then I do the other leg in the same manner. The odd thing about this product is certain functions are limited to select regions. For example, the knee and feet components offer only heat, no compression; the calf and thigh do not heating elements. There are more similar therapy exclusions per regions. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get heating for the thigh muscles. Also, I would have liked compression and vibration massage treatment for the feet. If the product delivered all the massage therapy features to each region, it’d be a premium level product. From close examination, I found the product to be well designed, with excellent quality materials and connections. It displays a high level of craftsmanship, as well. The product does deliver a good massage treatment, per the functions incorporated into respective regions. Based on these observations and impressions, it garners a 4 star rating.
