Hylomar Advanced Formulation (3 oz. Tube)

A reworkable sealant and gasket prep material. Seals against fuels and oils. This is quite tacky and greatly helps in assembly of gasketed parts. Easy application as it is initially quite spreadable, then quite tacky.

When my tube of Hylomar emptied I found that the American sealant company (whose name was on the tube), no longer sells this great stuff. Hylomar is an excellent gasket dressing that seals but allows easy disassembly and the re-use of gaskets in many cases. It is also good for metal to metal close fitting machined joints such as case halves. The silver seal Advanced Formulation (solvent free) never sets or skins over and it is reasonably priced. Great Stuff!

This product is great for use on automotive hoses. Even after a long, long time in place the hoses are easy to remove!

Spreads thin and stays sticky prior to assembling motor parts on flat surfaces. Seals against high temperatures and oil leaks. Great for use on motorcycle engine cases.

The best non-hardening gasket maker/sealer on the market! I use this product in maintaining my race cars and building engines. Always works well and makes disassembly easy -- not the chore it usually is scraping old gaskets and adhesives. Hylomar does what it is supposed to do and comes apart cleanly when it should. I love the stuff and won't use anything else!

Dont know why they sell any other type of Hylomar

I got what I wanted, but I do wish someone had chosen a way to send it which did not cost more than the product!
