Better than the Original!
For starters, I'm passionate about Microcurrent. After working in the cosmetics industry in the 80s, I'm a skincare & gadget junkie. I was unhappy with the original NUFACE and sold it on eBay after a few months of erratic use. It ate batteries and I couldn't tell if it was functioning or not. Uncomfortable to hold, and gel was sticky, awful I also use Facemaster Platinum, and I found that to work great around the eyes and mouth but not the cheek/jawline/chin/neck. Last fall I started salon microcurrent treatments - now on maintenance, 1x mo. Just got the NUFACE Trinity on Amazon after reading positive reviews elsewhere. Still using FM for eye/mouth areas, but prime concern is jowls. I've had outstanding neck/jawline improvement from salon treatments - cheekbones especially - but need to maintain it, and this is where NUFACE shines. I don't expect dramatic results from this one device since I'm already doing a lot - daily DPL red light therapy + 1-2x wk microderm with NuBrilliance (both from Amazon) and serious Perricone anti-aging regimen. Living in FL, I'm strict about high SPF sunscreen & hats. If you routinely expose your face/neck to the sun, smoke, or drink alcohol a lot, don't waste your time/$$ with microcurrent. Also if you're overweight, don't expect microcurrent to be liposuction. Now I'm adding NUFACE Trinity daily after the light therapy. After two advanced-level treatments on high, I can say that I am very happy with this purchase. I can TELL the device is working, saw and felt some lift along the jawline. It's comfortable to hold and the 5 sec beep is great; the gel is OK. Being rechargeable is HUGE. You know you are getting a good treatment with a full charge. And it will be great for travel, unlike FM. Expectations: microcurrent is stimulating skin's natural collagen & elastin production and you *eventually* see firmer, thicker and therefore younger-looking skin, in addition to whatever lift you achieve. I turn 60 next month have always looked about 10 yrs younger, but now I have the skin tone/texture & cheekbones I had at 40. I'm less bummed out than when I turned 50! Microcurrent is essential and I'm really excited about the new Trinity. Still plan to use FM 3x/week on eyes. If you use Trinity daily, a 30 day return period should be adequate to see if it's going to work for you. If you can't commit to do daily for 30 days, rethink buying it. IMHO, if you just use NUFACE on your NECK, you will take YEARS off, NO MATTER your age. So many women have pampered the face, but their necks look AT LEAST 10 years older, sometimes more. GRAVITY. ALWAYS. WORKS. You need to work your neck, moisturize it, and keep it out of the sun (especially while driving!) $325 for NUFACE would be worth it just to keep your neck matching your youthful face. Ditto the hands. Cost: Research the cost of injections, facelifts, laser/thermage, even salon microcurrent in your area. $325 is like nothing in comparison. Your time is another story. You do have to invest that, and REGULARLY. UPDATE: After a couple weeks of regular use, I still love this device. So much improved over the first model, and the timing beep makes a huge contribution to ease of use. I do want to say that the new conductive gel is MUCH better than I thought originally and doesn't dry all that quickly if you put enough on initially and work in the sections recommended.

What You Should Know Before Buying
This device has become a staple in my skin care routine. I really do love it, and I've found it to be a worthy investment. There are a few things one should be aware of before purchasing: - I have seen advertisements saying that this device can make your face look as if you've had a face-lift. If this is the reason why you choose to purchase it, you will be sorely disappointed. The only way to achieve the look of having a face-lift is by actually getting one. This is a facial toning device. It "exercises" the muscles in your face to give it a more toned and contoured look. Toned muscles can make the face appear more lifted, but not on an "I got a face-lift" level. By using the device, along with a skincare regimine using products for aging skin, my skin feels tighter and more supple than it did before using the device. - It is important to properly use the device in order to see results. I strongly recommend finding a tutorial video to follow. While using a tutorial as an initial guide, you can eventually customize your routine with placements that give you the best results. - Using this device is a time commitment. In order to maximize results, you should commit to using the device EVERY DAY for the first 6 weeks, then every other day or at least 3 times per week going forward for maintenance. - Many people take issue with the cost of the hydrating gel primer. It is possible to substitute it with aloe vera gel, but I really don't like the way that feels on my face. There is something you can use in order to purchase the primer less often. That something is....water! Spritz some water on your face before applying the primer. This will help keep the primer moist so that the device can easily glide across your skin. There are many tutorials out there that will tell you to apply more primer once the primer you have on becomes dry. DO NOT DO THIS. It is not necessary and you will end up having to buy more primer sooner than you had hoped to. Instead, just spritz more water on your face. It will rehydrate the primer instantly. Simple as that. - As far as attachments are concerned, I have not tried the wrinkle reducer attachment yet. I have tried the ELE attachment though and it's a must-have. It targets smaller areas more precisely than the facial trainer. I hope this review helps you in your decision of whether or not this device is for you!

I'm looking younger already! lol!
So lately I've noticed that my face is sagging a bit. I eat right, exercise and take care of myself, but age happens. So began my desperate search for the fountain of youth. The first thing I did was research face exercises. We do these things in yoga, like the "lion" but I couldn't really see myself having the discipline to do that every day for 15-20 minutes. The next thing I did was go onto my favorite yoga and health sites and see what products they're shilling. There is one company in particular that I trust very much. So far every product I've purchased from them has been great. And there it was! The NuFace. It sounds too good to be true, but on the other hand, I don't want to get a facelift. Not my style. The technology behind NuFace seems simple enough. My physical therapist uses similar micro-current technology on my shoulder and neck sports injuries. Microcurrents are used in treatment to aid in muscle recovery, improve cellular repair, oxygenation, etc. My theory is that this therapy should work on the facial muscles too. Instead of freezing muscles like botox does, why not strengthen them? Yogis always look young in the face no matter what their age, and imho it's because they exercise their faces in yoga. Now onto the product: The box comes with a gel to apply to your face for use with the NuFace device. I've misplaced the gel a coupld of times and I used moisturizer. That worked too. You do need some kind of gel because the micro-currents can feel like their pinching if you have a bare face. I use my NuFace on my jowl area, cheekbones, and forehead. I think it's working! I swear that my jowls are not as pronounced, and they're actually receding. It's only been two weeks and I'm looking forward to getting to the 30 day mark to see the real difference. My husband noticed too, BTW. He told me "whatever you're doing to your face is working. You look like a movie star." He's not usually forthcoming like that, so I'll take that compliment thank you very much. And to cap it off, I just had a significant birthday and when I told someone my age she thought I was 15 years younger.YAY!

This Device Doesn't last long
In a couple years it just stops working. It charges on the charging station and then doesn't turn on once you ve taken it off. And the same exact thing happened to the same device I given my mom as a gift. So two in a raw. Really bad experience. You would expect such an expensive thing to last a little longer

Works great, but you have to use daily for 3 months and 2 times a week after that
I started getting microcurrent facials at a salon and loved the results but couldn't afford the treatments. Luckily I had a bunch of points and bought the nuface trinity. After a few months of daily use, I only needed to use it 1 or 2 a week for maintenance. It works so well!! The lines around my mouth have almost disappeared. HOWEVER, after 1 year and 2 months of use, the device is no longer turning on. I even tried resetting as referenced in the FAQ... STILL not working. I tried calling the Carol Cole company and after pressing 3 different options, I continued to get the voicemail of the same person. I left a message and sent an email. Will update if I hear back via email or a customer service rep. Very disappointed that a device that is this expensive would stop working after a little over a year. Please see comment below regarding the company repairing the device.

Might be worth it as a preventative measure--but don't buy into their Gel Primer PR spiel.
I've been using this as instructed, for 2 months, 5 days/week. I haven't really noticed any significant difference, but I also don't need much "lifting" nor wrinkle-smoothing in the first place -- I bought this as more of a preventative measure before I encounter those problems on a significant level. I'll continue to use it since the SCIENCE of microcurrent technology strongly suggests it has a positive impact on anti-aging measures. I will say their NuFace Gel Primer was used up quickly -- in a month -- because it dries quickly, and you need enough of it to make a "mask" layer (per their instructions). Math: At about $30 for a small 5 oz tube ($6/oz) for what is basically conducting gel (no matter how much they spice it up with fancy marketing verbiage), this is a terrible rip-off. --->The "extra" ingredients they market as beneficial to your skin, are basic components that you ought to be getting in your other skincare products (e.g., hyaluronic acid, plant extract--very basic stuff). --> Test it yourself -- do a side-by-side ingredient comparison and feel free to Google and research the words you don't know. I already did, and for me, it makes zero sense to buy the NuFace Gel Primer. --> Doctors' offices / spas also don't whip out the NuFace Gel Primer to get the job done. Lol. --> The SCIENCE of electrical currents isn't dependent on using NuFace's Gel Primer or not. Any conducting gel will conduct current. MORE MATH: I use a standard conducting electrode gel that cost me $10 for (3) 8.5 oz tubes ($0.39/oz)...that means the NuFace Gel Primer, priced at $6/oz, is marked up by 1539% (0.39 x 1539%, or 15.39, = 6). The standard gel works works just as well. There is one extra step of wiping it off, which yes, takes me an extra 30 seconds with a facial-cleansing cloth. Well worth saving myself from being ripped off by 1539%. --> I know the standard inexpensive gel works...because I can feel the same strength of tingling when I hit a particular facial nerve of mine. Same sensations, same places on my face, no difference in sensations whether I use the inexpensive gel vs NuFace Gel Primer. I also work in the pharmaceutical industry so I have really learned out how to just be aware of the facts/ingredients vs fancy marketing verbiage. Of course, you do you, and this is just my own end-user experience. Happy trails!

Actually works!
I read about the NuFace Trinity device in an article on skin care, and decided to research it further. I found many reputable sites (Allure, Good Housekeeping, In Style) that touted this product, so for my birthday I told my husband that I would like one. I have been using it for 3 weeks and I am actually seeing results. I am 64, and nothing that I have tried in the way of products or devices, has ever worked for me. Despite the wonderful reviews, I was skeptical that it would work for me, but after a few weeks I started seeing subtle improvements, and my skin seems to look better (firmer and brighter) each day. I don't know if the improvement will continue, but fingers crossed! If you order this, go to You Tube and watch videos on how to use it. It is much easier to do if you actually watch someone, and there are specific directions for use. Also, it is recommended to use it every day for two months, and then 3 to 4 times a week for maintenance. And lastly, keep in mind that this product cannot be used without microcurrent conductive gels. You MUST put them on your face before using. The one that comes with the device is no longer made by NuFace; they have replaced it with two different products, one of which is Nuface aqua gel. You can however, use any microcurrent, conductive gel product, just remember that it will be an expense you will have about every 6 weeks. This product is not inexpensive, but it really is worth the money.

THIS WORKS!!! Give it time!!
I absolutely LOVE the NuFace facial toning device! I've used it now for a little over three months and have seen drastic improvement in my face. Do not expect to see instant results! Patience and consistent use will result in remarkable Plus I receive comments about how much younger I look (I am 42 and people say I can pass for later 20s or early 30s...yea, really)!!! I use the NuFace device at least three times a week for no more than 5-10 minutes a session. The video online at the NuFace site instructs you to use it for 30 minutes per session - I don't have the time or patience to give myself a treatment for even 20 minutes!! Results: I have more even skin tone and acne has disappeared (for whatever reason, I had a sudden outburst of acne for approx six months and could not get rid of it even after visiting the dermatologist...and I am not acne prone)!! I really believe this product helped eliminate the acne (I also used Alpha Hydox lotion daily which I believe helped with the total transformation of my face)! I HIGHLY recommend investing in this toning device as it pays off in the long run. It's much cheaper than getting micordermabrasions or microcurrent treatments at the spa (which runs anywhere from $90-$150 per one hour session in NYC). At home, I can use my device anytime I please and as frequently as I wish. Rather than continuing to purchase the gel primer from NuFace (which can be costly), any aloe smoothing gel will do. I actually purchased "Aloe Soothing Gel" by NOW Solutions (8fl oz tube); it's organic aloe vera with cucumber extract and can be purchased here on Amazon for a reasonable price.
