Q: How do you charge your oxygen concentrator?

It plugs into the wall or your car adapter

Q: will the straps inside to secure the unit interfere with the venilation of a caire freestyle comfort?

I personally don't have that one but looking it up,I think the backpack will work. Just make sure the measurements are right and the straps go top and bottom of unit.

Q: is there a front strap for across chest?

No front strap. Unfortunately, I had to return mine. Despite the info saying it would fit my portable and the dimensions being the same, I was unable to zip the backpack. It was SO close but I was afraid if I pushed any harder I’d break the zipper. It’s a nice backpack IF your portable unit fits inside.
