I am not a dog groomer so I was questioning whether I should get something this "big and fancy" but we set it up yesterday and I doubt my decision NO MORE! I have two 45 lb. cowdogs and a huge 90 lb. Malamute cross. I bought the 50" unit and all 3 fit inside nicely, one at a time, of course! We live on a cattle ranch so they get really muddy and dirty all the time. I will probably use this thing daily! Very little set up - you only have to attach the basin unit to the legs/drawer which are already one unit and then put on the back and sides. Hooking up the water and drain was easy but I will say my husband is experienced in that type of stuff. The ramp is so smooth to lower and raise...I think its a lot easier for dogs to walk the ramp rather than steps. The slatted trays in the bottom keep the dogs up out of any mud or dirt left in the bottom of the tub. The fixtures are sturdy and easy to use. The shower wand slides in and out smoothly without catching or hanging up. The drain cup catches hair, mud clumps or pebbles so my drain doesn't get clogged. I love the rail on the back so I can tie the dogs while bathing. The ramp seals firmly when raised so I haven't seen any leaking. The big drawer slides smoothly and is a nice feature for towels, shampoo, wash gloves, etc. Not gonna lie, this bath is big...it takes up a lot of room in my basement bathroom but its totally worth it! No more washing feet one at a time with a little foot scrubber that doesn't get them clean or bending over a bathtub trying to get them washed. SO much easier to have them at waist level while washing! And easy to blow dry in there...I just do one side then turn around and do the other! All the water droplets stay in the tub so I don't have a wet floor to mop up after. It was an investment in money and space but it was totally worth it. The great overall quality of this product makes it worth every penny!

This tub systems is all we could have wanted and more! We have two 85lb Golden Retrievers and the 50" tub easily accommodates them. We will use this tub frequently!!! Things we like about the Kanis tub and why we chose it over the others are: 1. Height - I'm 6'6" and wife is 5'5" and we both can manage washing the dogs alone. Tub height keeps you from getting wet! 2. Adjustable Feet - for leveling your tub on any type flooring (our floor isn't level); 3. Adjustable ramp with anti slip sections - instead of steps. This is built into the door. Simply lift up and swing down, pulling the inner panel out to where you need it. The dog has good traction to enter and exit tub. 4. The adjustable floor panels are nice and sturdy - the stainless steel frame they sit in has handles that don't get in the way and make it easy to lift out. We use them on the floor of the tub, but there are two other levels you can put these at. 6. Flexibility - the sink can be used as an oversized sink to clean anything. The faucet swivels out of the way when you are washing your dog. Hose nozzle sprayer - plenty of spray volume and reach to wet & rinse. There is a soap dispenser too! 7. Nice big storage drawer. and 8. My wife says don't forget to add how easy to clean it is! You'll want to replace the temporary plumbing that comes with it when you permanently place your tub. We placed ours where a utility sink used to sit so already had the needed hook ups and drain pipe. Most DYI folks can easily achieve this with basic plumbing knowledge. We added a trap and clean out valve where our plumbing meets the wall. This tub will see a lot of use and we believe it will stand up very well and live up to our expectations.

This is a super dog wash station. We removed a utility sink from our laundry room and installed it ourselves in a couple of hours. It is very sturdy and the ramp makes it so easy for the pups to walk up and in. I love that you can choose exactly where along the back you want your controls to go. There are 10 holes and the plugs to cover the ones you don’t use aren’t just press in. They actually have a stem and screw into place! The sprayer has a nice long hose. The soap dispenser comes with a bottle or a nice weighted hose that you can just run into your shampoo bottle! I am not a groomer just a mom to two long-haired Tibetan Terriers. There were cheaper alternatives but this is money well spent for us. You can choose what side the ramp is on and one or two storage drawers. No more bending over in the shower! (Note- the blue grates the dogs stand on are not in place in this picture nor is the ramp down)

As a professional dog groomer i Highly recommend this tub! I purchased the 61” tub back in may and it hasn’t gave me any problems. all attachments work great and the size is great. the biggest dogs i have got in the tub was a Newfie and Great Dane and still had some room to spare. it was easy to install and put together. the quality and sturdiness is great. i love that it comes with grates that can be adjusted to different heights.

I have assembled the bath and run water to it. I'm working on the drain now and will be able to fix any leaks after that is done. My opinion is the metal work on the bathing station is super quality and easy to assemble. The faucets and sprayer appear to be mid quality. The drain is not great. The drain fixture in my bath would not make-up to the 1-1/2" standard drain piping supplied with the bath. I bought a standard one on Amazon that has worked perfectly. I told the supplier about the problem and what was wrong with the drain fitting. They responded quickly and gave me a credit for the part and effort expended. Overall I think this is a good purchase. Kanis has been very responsive to correct problems. Update: my friends, who are professional groomers, groomed our ten Collies yesterday using this Kanis wash station. They really liked it and thought it worked well.

Kanis' dog washing stand is amazing. After 30 years of bending over bathtubs or kiddie pools, having this bathing station feels like going to a Hilton. Instead of dreading the effort and mess, I can run the dog downstairs and she's sparkling in a minutes. Clean up is a matter of a quickly spraying down the unit and then emptying the hair and dirt out of the easy-to-remove drain catcher. The whole thing is great quality - both the steel panels, which are just the right thickness to feel solid without being overly heavy, and all the accessories. I've had it over two years now, and it still basically looks like new. It replaced our old utility sink, and that works well too. It is even better for normal household uses than the old sink, and it easily integrated with the rinse hose from our washing machine. Amazing, well thought out design. The telescoping ramp is integrated into the door, which keeps everything compact in the workspace. Lots of options given as where you can locate things, right or left handed. I washed my dogs in the shower before, which is frequent since I live on a ranch with red dirt and a mucky barn. It was brutal on my back, which is why I started looking for another solution. I have a small, medium and large dog, so the adjustable height floor platform solves all my back problems. It is a high quality dog washing station, and it cost about the same as the plain utility sink I had in that spot before. So happy!

Professional grade! The tub was very well packaged and protected, and it arrived in perfect condition. The kit requires assembly, but take your time and follow the directions and you’ll be fine. The adjustable height grates are very nice and sturdy and allows you to accommodate for dog height. The harness bar spans the whole width of the tub, so you can secure your pet wherever needed. The faucet and spray nozzle are just right and you can mount them in any location. The soap dispensers work great and you have the option to use detachable soap bottles, or run the supplied hoses down directly into your soap jugs. We needed extra soap dispensers and Kanis was kind enough to send them to us when requested. This is a company that obviously cares about their products and their customers. Don’t hesitate…buy this tub today! Also, so far we have had dogs from 7lbs to 117lbs, and the tub is very accommodating to all!
