One of the major factors in a 5 star here for me is the visibility you gain. Living in Sunny Scotland our cars are prone to some of the worst rock salt rust and general wear and tear. So 80% of the time it's raining. I really only got this to add a bit more flair to the side mirrors but the lip actually prevents water getting on the mirror itself as to not distort you during night driving nearly as much and overall better visuals all day. It fits with my vehicle really well, Focus Estate Which you'd not think is appropriate but it has a rather Thin profile. smaller width and smaller mirrors than my Mercedes so with installation, follow the natural lines of the mirror, there is a slight change in angle with the top cover, try to align them carefully on a warm day and check both sides once you have them lightly pressed on. This way if you notice any issues you can tweak them without ruining the adhesive. If you're worried about messing this up, Buy some 3M tape. It's just a legendary double sided adhesive tape that can be re-applied if the one included is a total dud. It took me about 5 minutes with careful considerations to the mirrors shell shape, I'll update this review hopefully on a sunny day but may forget as in March right now it's just non stop rain up here. I'd get it for any medium sized 4 door and even estates. I don't know how it'd look on a small car, maybe a bit goofy with little fairy wings? It'd probably work great on vans too depending on the mirror. If it ends up falling off in a year or so i'd happily buy another one just to keep that amazing mirror visibility in rainy conditions.

This is well made out of some sort of rubber compound for the money however the strip did not stick and I had to buy a 3Ms outdoor tape which added another £8 to the cost. That has worked and they look good and do prevent the mirrors from being covered at the top half with rain.

For the price, it’s a 8/10 but the M3 adhesive does require extra persuasion! I resorted to some Gorilla glue lightly over the tape to ensure a firm seal. They look good on my BMW and help keep condensation to a minimum. The carbon effect could be a bit better but again, you get what you pay for.
