this not a substitute for Anise Extract normally found in small bottles. no anise aroma and a weird after taste I had to throw my cookie dough away it was so strong. I only used a small amount and it still ruined my bake )-

The product is wonderful. However when ordering several times, twice when ordered one of the 2 bottles ordered was broken. The packaging was a little bit of brown paper. No bubble wrap to protect from breaking. They should use bubble wrap So not to loose investment. So I've been ordering another brand in plastic bottles that come bubble wrapped. But I love this product.

Pure Alcohol with a slight tinge of spearmint. Poured into tea…very little flavor imparted. Perhaps the product is fine and my expectations for it were the problem? Would also have been nice to have included a dropper to dispense product.
