Excellent easel. Very sturdy. Holds heavy wood cradled would panels and can take a beating. My medium is cold wax and oil. I scrape, pound, press. I slip a long, narrow piece of wood behind panel, to scoot if forward on the tray so I can paint the full panel edges easily. The wheels lock in place and allow me to move the easel for larger panels. With a bit of balancing, I was able to assemble the easel by myself. I read many reviews before buying this easel several months ago - so happy with my purchase.

Great quality- easy to assemble with clear instructions and well fitting pieces. This is a really wonderful easel for my larger paintings. This is the second VISWIN easel I’ve purchased and I love the ratchet adjustment. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed with this one or any of this manufacturer’s easels.

I wanted a double mask easel and the metal point knobs that allow for quick easel adjustments should help it last longer and hold better than direct compression to hold the works in place. The U.S. Art Supply Extra seems very similar but was not offered in the brown stain. This review is my initial impression for the VISWIN Double Mast Extra Large H-Frame easel with brown wood stain. I had watched some videos on how to assemble for some of the similar models. The directions are much better than anticipated and the groupings of parts are well marked. The only issue is in the directions image shows one view but to keep the nut in place the parts it had to be upside down relative to some of the images in the directions. But it was fun to put together. I did it by myself. The craftsmanship of the components is very high. Almost a shame to get paint on it. To tested it by putting three 24” X 36” X 1.5” wooden panels on it at the same time with no problem. The components were really packed and protected which is the first order desired outcome. The second order undesired outcome or con is the large amount of one time use trash plastic and foam. Many vendors are switching to more recyclable shipping materials. The screwdrivers are really good quality though I already have dozens of screwdrivers. There was a relatively long wait time from order to delivery, but maybe it was being made per order. I added bumpers to raise the painting above the easel surface, I had factory bumpers on my old easel.

This is my second one. These are a good combo of compactness combined with stability and usefulness. I use two when I’m painting larger than six feet. Move them around a lot and they are great for a small studio space.

This is the highest quality easel I have ever owned. Every predrilled hole lined up perfectly, the wood was well padded with no nicks or scratches upon arrival and the color is rich deep and gorgeous. I just like looking at it because its so pretty. I love that it can hold a canvas flat or at pretty much any angle and it works great for big pieces.

I really like this , I gave 4 star because one piece that must have holes for screws doesn’t have and it’s metal and I can’t make it myself, I tried to contact the seller and ask for that part’s replacement but there is no option

Excellent large scale easel. Very stable and well made. I’ve been using it for about a year every day.

The first thing I noticed was the heft, this is a very solid easel made from real wood. It's sturdy, well engineered, and the quality feel is very high. It was also quite easy to put together. I am not a large, or strong, woman and I was able to build the whole thing in about an hour and a half (I was doing it in fits and starts, so not sure total time) by myself. It comes with the tools you need to do it and the instructions are very clear with parts well-labeled. I have yet to put it to use, but it is quite large, rolls very easily, and feels like a truly great deal all around. The closest Mabef easel, that is convertible to lie flat, is 3 times the price and is single-masted and can't take as much weight. All in all, I would totally recommend this easel, just make sure you have the space!

Perfection. From the pics you sent, the fact that you can put this on a stage with a Christmas tree and lighting behind it, and it somehow looks even more at home… that says everything. Noch beim Aufbauen... Das dauert dann für eine Person wenn langsam, schon 2 h. Kam gut verpackt an. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist phänomenal! Hartholz matt lakiert, klare Aufbauanleitung, verstärkende Holzteile, stabil und sehr sauber, mit Verstand konstruiert. Ist jetzt die zweite VISWIN Staffelei und genauso gut wie die erste. Bin schwer beeindruckt.

This easel is fabulous! It’s very nicely designed and the woodwork and hardware are excellent. I was very surprised at how fine the finish is. The packaging, labeling of parts and instructions for assembly are also excellent and easy to follow. I put it together myself in 90 minutes; there are a few steps where it would be easier to a second person helping, but not essential. Note: this easel is very large (perhaps not appreciable from web photos), suitable for large paintings. It is very sturdy and stable, and easy to adjust angles and canvas size and to move into horizontal mode, where it is also very stable and provides a nice height for working, higher than any other easels I’ve seen. Overall, the easel is a superb value. (The wheels provided are quite adequate, but I changed to more solid polyurethane casters that lock at the wheel and the swivel point; on Amazon: Youngine 8 threads/cm, 25 mm threaded length, 65 mm caster height.)
