Great for counting with toddlers!
This is thus far the best item I have used for counting. I am a teacher and mom of an 18month old and this is the only item my son understood when counting. We tried counting pasta, Lego's and styrofoam numbers, but these 10 frames are the only things that helped him visually understand counting. We used it for two days. The first day was a learning experience, but on the second day he counted to 10! I love these.

Good visuals
My kids were eager to play with these right away. Not to do math, but just to mess with. We have used them for schoolwork. These are very lightweight and soft. It worked well since I have two kids so they each got to play with two ten frames. Since they connect like puzzle pieces you could buy more and do even higher ten frame math. Really helps with visualizing making ten related math problems. The dots come with two colored sides so you can visually see the addends and minuends.

Great idea
These are great products. I use them for a learning disabled child to be able to see the ten square and have a manipulative. Also, if you have a child who gets frustrated with math and likes to make manipulatives into projectiles, these are foam and don’t hurt as much.

Good but incomplete order
I love this product and it’s perfect for what I want to use it for in my kindergarten class. The only thing is I ordered 5 and only 4 arrived. I needed 5 to complete my class set. Otherwise it’s perfect!

Conceptual Math
As a math coach in an elementary school, I have found these manipulatives very useful! Even with older students, I'm able to help them visually unitize. With the younger students we work on anchoring to ten.

Tactile Ten Square
Perfect for adapting ten-square assignments for my blind kindergartener and build on math skills such as adding and subtracting, place value, etc. Easy to use with small hands. Would definitely recommend.

Much uglier in person
These were requested by my kid's teacher- they looked wooden and nice. After they came, I had to double check the description because they are foam, which is mentioned I guess in the product name but there are like 22 words in the product name (dazzle effect?) so I guess I just missed it. The foam print is hideous though- they don't even look remotely wooden and have a bright blue visible backing. I hope she's not disappointed. I wouldn't have chosen them myself had I known what they actually look like. It's probably worth looking for some that are real wood.
