Time at a Glance!
I love this product! So easy to tell the time without counting on the clock. A great quick visual glance tells you how much time you have left. Most people don't even know it's a clock so if you glance at it they don't feel like your looking at the clock so you can all be more engaged.

Great for people who need need more than 1 hour timers, and tend to lost track of time
Perfect! Designed for kids but great for visually-oriented adults too. The large size and longer times (120 min) are exactly what I needed. I keep it in my kitchen and use it for all kinds of tasks, not just cooking.

Functions Randomly Ceased to Work
It is, to me, a shame to join my voice with the other 1-star reviews, as in theory, this is a great product. However, it is now clear that it is entirely unreliable and the manufacturing likely lacks appropriate quality control.About 1-2 months into my using the Time Time 120 minute (infrequent use!), I began to notice that my tasks were feeling like they were taking a lot longer than the time I had allotted for them. Each time, I would look up, and lo and behold, there would be a reason for it! The timer had wound down, but had failed to alert me with a "Beep beep."I checked the volume knob, thinking I had accidentally turned the volume down. No, it was right where I left it. I began needing to crank the volume knob up higher and higher to get it to beep. 40% and below were completely silent. The required location I needed to crank it up to became higher and higher. Then it worked normally. Then it didn't. Then it did. Then it didn't.Very soon after, the timer began refusing to beep at all at any level of volume. I could feel that I would have to crank the time wheel up to a full 120 minutes, hear some kind of "click" like I was re-zeroing the mechanism, and then manually wind it down to get the beeping to activate again. Then it would work normally. Then it wouldn't. Then it would. Then it wouldn't.I let all this slide as I am a fairly easygoing person and I don't like leaving negative reviews. Until tonight, when I forgot about all this nonsense and had to use the Time Timer for something. Shenanigans again! Now I'm just mad. It is so ironic and to my mind, so totally unacceptable, to sell a device of such inferior quality which was designed with the specific intent of helping people improve their time awareness, punctuality and consistency. You totally missed the mark, Time Timer. I believed in you! Believed in myself... But now, you are just a very pricey and very wasteful investment in my very honest effort to bring order to my disorderly Millenial brain. For shame.

A Stressless Timer
As a neurodivergent senior, I find my lifelong struggles with time only increase with age. I find this timer to actually be comforting, rather than adding stress to my day. Having a non-numerical representation of where I am in relation to a particular chunk of time, requiring no interpretation and visible from across the room, has been a revelation. I also like that it does not nag you until you do something about time having passed (I'm looking at you, microwave.) A much better purchase than I expected.

Seems cheaper, but solves the purpose.
The dial has a lot of play in it. So the accuracy isn’t quite there. +/- maybe 3 min. To get better accuracy, When setting the time duration, continue forward and stop at the time you want. Do not try to go back if you pass it as the time will be off. If you need to go back as you over shot your desired time, you will need rotate clockwise to reduce time. Rotate further than desired time, and then rotate back back to desired time.

I’m a single parent so having the timer helps us both cool down before we talk
We’ve been using this timer for a week now as a “thinking time-timer” for my 4-year old son who has behavior issues and is hyperactive. It’s made all the difference for us as a little family. I’m a single parent so having the timer helps us both cool down before we talk. I think for him being able to see the blue get smaller as time passes gives him something to focus on and calms him down. When he acts out, I put him in thinking time in his room on the same chair with the timer set for 5 minutes. When the timer is done he knows to come find me and we talk it out. He’s also really smart so we had to put a nail high up in his room and hang it from there so he doesn’t crank down his thinking time ;)We also use it for TV time! If he has a good day at school he gets to watch TV for 20 minutes when he gets home. He knows if he whines when the timer is up he won’t get to watch the next day!Love the product! It’s helping me be a better parent.

Great Concept - poor product
Brilliant concept! my ADHD kid finally was able to see what we mean by "a little while" and it also helped with kid disagreements about taking turns.unfortunately, this particular one was very intermittent, sometimes it ran slow, and when you are trying to get kids out the door because you're late, but the timer still hasn't gone off- that really undermines the authority of the timer. also the alarm will randomly go off- quite startling if you're home alone.you should absolutely get a visual timer, just not this one. i am returning it and getting another brand.

Has helped me visualize time.
I love this thing! I use it for work, school, chores. Everything in between. I love that it goes up to 2 hrs, and it is in minutes. The sound makes people jump at work, so make sure you warn them what you're doing if you're going to use it around others. And at times and I wish I could put a different sound in to switch it up so I don't start ignoring it. (ADHD problems, am I right?)If you are struggling with getting tasks done in a certain time frame or struggling with staying on a schedule I recommend you try this out!
