I love this little thing! works great and so easy to use! I originally bought it to help locate a hot water leak under my slab foundation, and found it with ease. also had some fun just looking at things around the house with it like the rest of the hoot water pipes and had a little fun recording the cats too lol

This tool is ideal for troubleshooting. Its small and lightweight. It perfect for finding lose connections or water leaks withiut having to do a lot of guess work. The price is definitely more reasonable than other brands that do the exact same thing. Its super fast and easy to use, all you have to do is plug it into your phone and the app does the rest.

This thing works great, excellent tool for a controls tech. Find duct leakage, troubleshoot overheating components on a board, check discharge temps and sometimes even diffuser throw. It's decently fast once it initially loads and it's range is pretty good too so long as you get the emissivity setting correct. App automatically opens when you connect the device which is cool too. That said, the adapter sucks. It has to be plugged in just right and if you bump it wrong, the camera disconnects. Which takes a good 30 seconds to reconnect after that happens. I read reviews saying it doesn't work with a case which may have been true with a previous design, but I have a fairly heavy duty case and it works fine. The second downside is that the plastic carrying case is not super solid. I wouldn't trust it on my keys, I keep it on an interior zipper in my backpack. Altogether, I would say if you frequently use an infrared thermometer, you would probably benefit from this. Reliable, accurate, and cheaper than options with built in cameras.

I was looking for a thermal imaging camera and this one works with your smart phone or iPad. Which is great. You can use it to take photos. I tried several imaging cameras and I feel this is the best choice. It’s made by a company that makes tools for contractors specifically electrical tools. It’s case is metal, most of them are plastic. It comes with a plastic Carrying case which is kind of cheap and flimsy. The app is user-friendly. Download it. Plug in the camera and it starts up. You don’t have to fiddle around with it to get it to work. It’s a little pricey but it’s on the low end of what these cameras run. So it’s a good value for the money. There is Amazon choice, this is my choice.

I have been an electrician for more than 47 years. This is a great product to determine whether there is potential fault/problem. I was able to determine, that there is a bad circuit breaker in a panel, under load. A 20-amp circuit was drawing 0.3 amps, and it created a hot spot. This should be in EVERY electricians diagnostic kit. Whether it is for I phone or Android, this is a must have.

Does not appear to be compatible with Samsung s25 despite clearly advertising that it works with anything above Android 6. When I scan the code to initiate downloading the app, it just gives me the message saying the app was designed for an older version of Android

Great quality metal construction. Both the phone app and hardware were easy to install, and came up immediately, with no fuss. I used it immediately to look up potential arcing in outlets. (didn't find any) Next i used it to look for thermal leaks around doors. I have hot water heating and used it to follow the copper lines in the walls and under concrete. It's a great tool, and i come up with new uses almost daily.

This dang thing doesn’t fit my iPhone 15. It’s the old type of connector and it doesn’t have an adapter even though it say iPhone 11 and above. Now I dont even know if the dang thing will work correctly if I get adapter. Update. Adapters don’t work. Have to carry a separate old iPhone around in tool back to use infrared camera. Actually works amazing. Just wish it worked on my iPhone 15 pro max

Worked great with my Samsung S24 ultra does not work with models newer though

The camera works okay so far. The case is irritatingly cheap and falls open all the time. The camera can then fall out and get scratched. Klein is just addicted to making garbage I guess.

Práctica, se sincroniza al telefono al instante, las imagenes tomadas son faciles de compartir, evité un fallo electrico en mi trabajo por calor debido a falsos contactos, termografia basica. El equipo es básico, los parametros de temperatura medidos no son exactos... por su precio y practicidad vale lo que cuesta. No pidas más de lo que un equipo profesional y de mas alto valor te puede dar. Excelente inversion, recomendado.
