Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked great

Not a techi guy, I had severe reservations that I could make this equipment work, but believe it or not, it is easy to manage. I recovered print photo slides from the late 50's and copied them into the computer. How else could I give life to writing my memoirs? It was a fun task with surprises—recalling emotions and experiences from 70+ years ago.

My scanner came with inserts for scanning things like slides, but they apparently got lost. This set is rather flimsy and hokey (maybe the original was too), but it does pretty much get the job done.

It's plastic like the original and it works, buying another one in the future so I don't have to switch out two negative strips every time when I can just have another tray with film ready to be scanned.

I just got around to being able to work on my project. I opened the plastic bag and found that the frame is cracked on the very narrow part of the 35 mm film side. Return date was February 17. Any chance I can still return it?

If you are looking for a solid replacement for the original tray for the Epson Perfection V600, this is not your best choice. As it was already mentioned by another reviewer, the two pieces were "stuck" together when they arrived so I had to carefully pry them apart. The two pieces don't line up properly, even the most basic of its functions, accepting two 35 mm strips of negatives, it is a tight fit (too narrow) in some spots. As the title says, ultimately, it gets the job done and quite honestly, for $15, I shouldn't have expected much of it. I believe the original part sells for about $50, this product makes one understand the difference between cheap and inexpensive: this one is cheap.

Big relief to be able to get this film holder. The price is right and it’s exactly like the original.

I found a perfectly working espon v600 at thrift store, I was sad to find it didn't come with this piece for negatives. I am so glad they sell this on here, works just like the original. Thank you!

The item arrived broken in two places. The item does not come in a box and it was shipped in a non-padded thin plastic envelope. Either it was stepped on or placed under a heavy package. The item itself is made of very brittle and thin hard plastic. I might try to glue the broken sections but it doubt this would last long. In fact, even if it wasn't damaged, it is not likely to hold up for long.
