Night crawlers are able to escape unless weight is placed on the lid.

Use a bit less water in setting up the box and mix. The worms do take to the food provided. If storing put a heavy object on top of the lid. I was surprised on the packaging and quick delivery. A solid way to keep worms all year long.

My red worms moved right into it with no issues. I had prepped the farm a few days before the worms arrived. Love it!

It’s a worm box. What can I say it does this job. Wish the price was lower.

I bought this kit (for the second time) about 2 months ago I think. The bedding is nice and the food does keep the crawlers alive. The HUGE downfall to this box is it is Styrofoam...meant to be a habitat box for long term use ....on the sides of the box there is a hole where the included rope goes through and is tied in a knot to provide you with a handle. BOTH of these boxes failed right at this point so the rope popped out breaking the very small piece of Styrofoam that holds the handle in place and my crawlers dumped all over the pier. This is a problem design and should be addressed as soon as possible. With this being designed as a long term use box and with its given size someone should have realized that this would weigh around 2lbs with moist bedding and crawlers in it. I would avoid this one guys and gals....I made my own box for mine.

This is my second one of these and the worms grow big . I just put worms from the garden it it and a week later they seem to double in size. Great to have if you like to fish and not dig all the time.

great product, feeds the worms a balanced diet, I use it as a suplement to there reagular diet. Paul
