Fun and aesthetically pleasing
This is for my daughters second birthday. She loves it and had brought her much joy. Had to send one back as some pieces were damaged and some would not fit in groves. Second one was slightly difficult to assemble but it takes a little trick and finesse. Leaves are pretty delicate to touch and fall out easy. Balls are small and can be choking hazard for a young curious baby. All in all I highly recommend!!🤍

Cute BUT not durable
Difficult to put together, pretty and cute when it does work, however the leafs/pedals are not easy to latch in, as well, they do not stay latched in very well, which is frustrating because the child cannot really get playing very long without it needing some tweaks. Also, the balls roll all over when it’s not perfect. However I love the idea, and when IT IS working, it’s very pleasant.

Breaks easily
I got this for my son because he loves marbles and anything related. The leaves wouldn’t stay in the slits created for them, some of the cuts made for the leaves were crooked or the wrong direction etc. and the peg that holds the stand together broke within a week and my son had not yet had the chance to play with it because it was such a ridiculous mess to assemble. It’s easy, except it’s made horribly so it’s actually really difficult. It’s a cool toy in theory and I plan to exchange it but I would say it’s not worth the money, maybe if it cost half of what it does it would be worth it.

Be forewarned
Its very hard to put together. But if you have the patience, its a great toy. The marble falls off half the time but that's part of the challenge.

Take your time putting it together
When you put both halves of the tree main staff together, make sure you have the hook tip of each leaf pointing to the left of the slot and start at the top and go down. If you have them pointed the wrong way the marbles can't stay on the leaves and they fall off. I wish they had put numbers on each leaf to make it easier to go in the right order. The colors on the photo on the box are a little hard to make sure you have them all in order correctly. All in all, if you do it right, it works and my kids enjoyed it (7 & 4 years old) If you are certain you won't take it back apart, you could glue the leaves on. I would recommend you number the leaves to save time later. Given a shop had a homemade one for $200 this is a bargain. It took me about 15 minutes to put together.

If the pedals would fit. Great toy. Otherwise. Much assembly required.
Pedals literally broke in the process of being put in. The slots are literally the exact same size as the hole. The trick to them tying together nicely is to cut the hole 1/32in wider than the material. Especially with wood as it expands when it soaks up the paint. Ever so slightly. Causing a jam when fitting. Which is what happens when you put the pieces together, they jam up and snap under the pressure needed to insert them. Post review edit: I dremeled out the slots ever so slightly and it now functions perfectly. We also glued the pedals in. It makes beautiful sounds when the balls rain down it. Glad we bought it. But still very frustrated at the work needing to be put in, to make it functional. It was a trying process.

I really wanted to love it it just doesn't work correctly.
I wanted to love this for my son who is autistic and I absolutely do not like it. Number one trying to get the colored pieces in is extremely difficult. You have to use a hammer or mallet to get them in there. Then when you get them in there if they're not in there perfectly aligned it doesn't work. Even when they are perfectly aligned the ball doesn't go down and make noise like it's supposed to it'll go down maybe two or three and then the ball bounces off. I had my son and his girlfriend try to do it and put it together and see if they could get it to work they couldn't. I don't know if we just got one that maybe was bad or the cuts in the wood we're not done correctly I don't know but it definitely is not working out. I don't know what else to say it just doesn't work. It would be really good for my son who is six who's autistic. The educational value of it would be great the colors and the sound that it's supposed to make would be nice for his speech. It would be fun for him. I would say kids from maybe a year to three or four years would really enjoy this. Maybe children with special needs would enjoy it of all ages. Depending on what kind of developmental level they are at. I'm a special needs mom so I always take into consideration any type of special needs or sensory issues that my children have when I'm reviewing stuff. I don't always see a lot of reviews that have things about kids with special needs and if they would be good for a child that may have some type of sensory issue or some type of developmental delay. So I like writing in my reviews something about my children so that other parents of children with special needs can find a review that may help them when they are making a decision.

Christmas day favorite
THIS was my son's favorite Christmas present. Not the new iPad mini, not the more expensive marble run. I considered taking a star off because the center of it is two pieces that aren't snuggly attached, but my husband was able to make a new peg that was a little less wobbly and fragile. If you can glue or tape to two segments of the trunk, it is endless fun for a 4 year old!
