Thump215XT 15" 1400W Enhanced Powered Loudspeaker with Bluetooth System Control

I like these Mackie speakers. They hold up well and sound good. The Altos I have heard and sound to much high end and run at 2 ohm. Poor quality the Altos. These Mackies are good for gigging in like ball rooms and banquet rooms. I run 4 of them and 2 subs. Plenty loud. I run sound for 35 years and solo act occasionally. Not for outside events. I use unpowered speakers for that.

I’ve waited a long time for these speakers I have upgraded from my old Mackie‘s speakers to this awesome set up. I have connected two of these 15 inch 1400 W speakers with a 18 inch Mackie subwoofer for my Church Grace Chapel worship band and it really causes the music to be felt deep and wide. Such a beautiful and very powerful sound.

This speaker ROCKS!! I use it every weekend as a stage monitor. The built in battery is a game changer. No feedback, clear, clean sound, very light and easy to carry around. Can't recommend enough!! Just buy it!!

pretty decent speaker. I got one to run from the DI of one of my amps for outdoor solo gigs. I run 2 acoustic amps as a left and right from a mixer. it does well unless it's and open field type setting but having 2 or 3 would extend the range. I may get another depending on my schedule this summer. I do like the quick 1 button EQ adjustments. Definitely check the buttons after set up and before use as the buttons can be easily pushed while setting up. I do feel like at the price point a thin dust bag should come with it. biggest complaint it the power cord is way to short. ground work is fine but on a tripod you need an extension cord. upgrade from the other thumping version is worth it if you need the features, otherwise meh. Mackie products are hit or miss they day so will see about longevity.

I had a JBL PartyBox 110 for a long time and got this Mackie speaker and all I can say it’s way better and louder and bassy and for the price it’s welll worth it I’m my own dj and all the features is amazing would totally recommend buying!!!!

This is a solidly made speaker that works well. Is capable of very loud volume. Is definitely on the bassy side which you would expect from a speaker called "thump", but not in a bad way. The EQ allows you to control the bass if you would prefer less. I had no problem with the app, which works well. I have a pair of these speakers to stream Bluetooth as well as for connecting to a mixer in a stereo pair and they worked well in either role. A really solid speaker at a great price!

I got these on a warehouse deal for our church. They sound great. I had this brand before and they were rock solid so why take a chance on something else. The Bluetooth is seamless though we mostly go hard wire.

Ordered 2 of these speakers and went to use it for the first time this weekend at an event and the speaker stopped working. We will update this as soon as we hear back from the company if they will replace it or not.

Works good

I use 2 of these with electronic drums, a percussion pad and accompanying audio (all via a mixer). For playing electronic drums this is the best set-up I've used to date. Being for practice so I don't actually need the resulting high Wattage available & was worried that if I didn't drive them at silly volume the sound would be poor. Luckily the sound quality is spot on even with the volume set to 0 (i.e. no attenuation & no amplification so just the barely amplified signal from the mixer). All the drums sound good, all the cymbals sound good, (usually with drum specific practice amplifiers I previously used it's 1 or the other sounding good or neither). They're quite large but nothing you'd not expect given they pack 15" speakers. They're not too heavy either so you can move them about easily enough.

Great sound for outdoor venues. App Bluetooth may take a few tries for initial pairing. Built like a tank.
